Hi there, Hope Tuesday is behaving for you? We are spinning like tops as usual, but I have to tell you, we wouldn’t have it any other way. The only challenge is striking a balance between a booming business and an overwhelming business. Here’s a masterpiece by Dee, using our lovely 3 new Baby Magpie Plates: Paul and I dissected it and prepared it for a TV show, but never got to show it off. Nonetheless, teamwork makes the dream work,…
Hello there! Monday after Ally pally. Ugh. I feel like I’ve been through a wash cycle and hung out to dry. What a weekend. The vibe was so special and, dare I say it – more like the good old days. So here is a short but sweet little tree demo for days like today, when you can barely string a sentence together. Ink up one of the little trees from the Wee Trees set in Fern green Archival and…
Hi Hi! Thanks for popping in. Just got back from Ally Pally. Had a brilliant day, catching up with good friends and just generally swanning about while the good Clarity crew carried the show. I cannot muster up a project this late. Sorry. Remember Herman’s Hermits? No milk today? Sing along if you dare!!!! Just changed the words a little for you…. No blog today My mojo’s gone away. My feet are killing me I need a cuppa tea Sorry…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Just got in from Ally Pally. We commute and sleep in our own beds. Much better – and a whole lot less expensive than hotelling it for 8 people!!! A bit hard on the drivers – but that’ll be Dave in the Van and myself in the Pick-up. So what’s new. WHAT A DAY!!!!!! Just as I predicted, it was amazeballs! Groovi was mobbed, although the Wee Stamps and Word Chains were looking pretty…
Hello lovely peeps! Thanks for popping in. Although I can’t stay long. Just got in the door from setting up at Ally Pally, have to eat and make the picnic for the Clarity crew tomorrow, and then decide what to wear on such an auspicious occasion. Not only is it the first exhibition we’ve done since last November at the NEC – but I’m doing a Live hour TV show at 1pm too. Our stand is looking pretty good. This time…
Ahoy there! Sorry I’m so late! Ask me how things are shaping up for Ally Pally and the HOCHANDA TV Show on Saturday – I dare you!! No, not really. Demos done for the 1pm show. The only problem is my neck; it seems to be revolting. Overdone it and now it’s on strike. Which is just great before a two-day, mental busy exhibition. So I’ve made an executive decision : no demonstrating at the show. Just the TV hour,…
Hello there! So good of you to pop in. I wish you were here! You’d be cleaning plates and packing stamps before you could take your coat off! In the run up to Ally Pally this weekend, we are ever optimistic that things will come together… Looking a little bit sparse at the moment, mind! We’ve just raided Jayne’s TV/trade stash so all is not lost!! The stencil section’s currently in the lead, with a pretty good selection. Stamps not…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. As promised, here’s a little step by step of one of the projects from TV this weekend. Surprisingly, despite the absence of Freeview, we still managed to sell out very thoroughly within a couple of hours. which just goes to show that you lovely peeps have either all got Sky – (highly unlikely!) or you were prepared to figure out a way to watch! Thank you. The HOCHANDA Crew also work so very hard, …
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Sorry we sold out of the Word Chain ABC on HOCHANDA this morning! Many many thanks for watching and supporting if you did; I just wanted to drop in and upload the basics of the painty demo I did with Hayley at lunchtime. Here’s how: Cut a piece of stencil card down to 5″ x 5″ and load a brayer with a little Cheesecake acrylic Fresco paint. Walk the brayer across the card, to…
Hiya! I hope you’re enjoying this lovely mild weather and sunshine! I’m up at the studios, waiting to go live, but thought I’d spend five minutes with you. Calms the mind, and get me out of this strange Shopping TV Bubble which I am in for 2 days again. As Sheila so wisely suggested yesterday, Let’s enjoy it! I’m here doing it, and I may as well have some fun!! Not that I am miserable! But I believe I can…
