Hi there. Thanks for popping in.Today’s Youtube is one of mine. It is a little longer than usual, but then parchment art isn’t speed crafting, is it ?!And why have we called it the Humble Groovi Grid? Well, let me explain. A Groovi Grid is simply an acrylic plate with loads of holes drilled through it. We have different sizes – A5 square, A4 square, long border grids to marry up with Tina Cox’s pattern grids, and here I am presenting…

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Was it raining cats and dogs over your house this morning? It certainly was over ours! So I came away up to my little hidy hole, and had a play with some alcohol inks and a Gelpress. Got carried away, and the roast dinner window is slowly closing here, so I had best keep it short, or Dave will be having beans on toast! I wanted to try out some of our new stencils,…
Hi there Thanks for popping in. Heard the sad news that the Design House of Orla Kiely has gone into liquidation. Who? I hear you ask. Well, you may not know the name, but you will certainly recognise the designs – they’re everywhere! She is known by many as the Queen of prints… Even our lovely Kate enjoyed the brand… Now I don’t know the ins and outs of why the business crashed, and I will take everything I read…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. This ere blog is struggling today. The wind has knocked out the internet, so it has taken me nearly an hour just to say Hi there? Blustery day, or what? ? Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Paul is showcasing a collection of exquisite Christmas dies on HOCHANDA today. They are proving very, very popular. My guess is that many of us like to capture the essence of Christmas. And what better way to do this than with Stained Glass Windows depicting beautiful icons? We have gathered together the Star of Bethlehem, the Madonna, the Dove of Peace, the church candle and the shepherds, and we have added a beautiful Peace…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Hope you’ve been watching Paul’s TV shows. I was glued to the telly, watching how he made that foldy outy card on the 6pm show. If you didn’t see it, you should watch on catch up; it was excellent. More tomorrow at 9am. 1pm and 5pm – stock permitting! But it’s official. I am definitely going potty. It started about two weeks ago, and it comes in waves. Usually on a Wednesday afternoon…. Check…
Evening everyone. Paul here, I hope you are all well. Barb and Dave are on a “secret mission” and have been caught in traffic, so I thought I had better get the blog sorted whilst the dinner is cooking! I have just finished watching the lovely Maria work her magic with the scrumptious Viva Decor Modelling Paste in this week’s YouTube tutorial. If you haven’t tried the modelling paste, then I urge you to give it a go! Grab yourself…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Thought I’d blog something which I saw Paul make at the weekend, which was very lovely – and really easy! Have you seen the new Christmas Round dies? They are beautiful. Clever Mel drew these. If you get all 4, then you actually only pay for 3. click HERE to investigate…. So let’s see how they work. Because they don’t have an outer cutting edge, they work brilliantly to create the coolest apertures. Here…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Long day today, but a fun day. It started at 5 am and believe you me, this cream crackered old bird is about to crash in front of the box ennyminnit!!! We know how to do this show thing, you know! At 7am we were under the Golden Arches on the A10, having Micket D Sausage McMuffin n Coffee, and what to our wondering eyes did we spy across the car park but a…
