Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Stonking headache today., so I thought I would call on the help of a few good friends. Been dealing with Holland much of today, as you do when you’ve bought a Dutch company, so that may explain why windmills were on my mind. Emma Williams Here’s a lovely stampset we designed a while back. Remember when I did this on TV in the Classroom. Wow, that’s a while ago…. click here The little flowers…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Let’s talk Background Designer papers and stamps today. The 4 books we launched in January have definitely hit the spot. Get the set or buy them individually. If you’re anything like me, you hand on to every little piece and sliver. Can’t bear to throw it away, right? All those bits and pieces lend themselves perfectly to some layering, paper piecing…. We just need a starting point, and this lovely large Claritystamp will do…
Bonjour! Thanks for popping in. Somebody on Facebook was looking for the Gelpress project I did on Telly last week, so here it is: It’s all about the sequence… 1. Attach the Elegant lady stencil to a piece of 7×7 Stencil card, using low-tack tape as a hinge at the top. Cover up her friend to the right with copy paper… 2. Place the Gelpress plate on its matching megamount. You can buy them together, at a lesser price. 3….
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Friday’s blog a private peek, so let’s see….. I’m left-handed. And you? My Mum, Dad and brother are right-handed, although my Mum was certainly born left-handed, but they forced her to use her right hand at school. This was not uncommon back in the day. In fact, they tied her left hand behind her back, which is rather extreme, don’t you agree? Try that in the local secondary modern!! Interestingly though, she has beautiful handwriting…
Hi there ! Thanks for popping in. It’s been a busy day today. Getting the projects done for the Stamp, Stencil and Groovi Clubs. Very happy with what I achieved though, which is always a bonus! It’s a bit full on at the moment at Clarity. So what’s new??? It was crazy BP (Before Pergamano). But now it has seriously gone radio rental ! APE as they say. (After Pergamano Entered). Nonetheless, the show must go on. Following on from…
Hi there. Thank you for popping in here today. Just on my way out the door to dear Jayne Nestorenko’s funeral. Paul and I are going together. To think it was a year ago almost to the day that Jayne called on us to run with her art because she wasn’t well enough to take it to market herself. One year. The outcome was inevitable, and yet she, her family and we friends always hoped for a miracle. I guess…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Quick step by step of one of the projects I did on telly. I ran out of time, so would like to show you this little butterfly! Hi there. Thanks for popping in. And if you were watching and supporting us, thanks for making our weekend on HOCHANDA such a stonking success again! Didn’t Tina Cox do a grand job on Sunday? In case you aren’t familiar with Tina, she is to my mind, one of the most creative, talented people I have ever met. Parcher extraordinaire. And have you seen her paper cutting?? Sheesh! Just for a split second at the start, when the camera turned to…
Hi there. Thanks for dropping in. Very busy day today at HOCHANDA. So good to see Tina Cox on our screens again. What a talent! As promised, here’s is a step by step of the beautiful little parchment scissor pouch, which another very clever and generous lady, Emma Burns, kindly made for Tina…. It looks complicated, but actually, when you break it down, it’s not too bad…. The key to the whole thing is the Groovi Tem-Plate for wedding cakes. A5…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Getting geared up for tomorrow on HOCHANDA. I have decided to use the one hour Sunday show 5-6pm every month to get the inks, stamps, stencil and paints out. So us die-hard stampers and mixed media guys and gals will always have a definite go-to-show. And why is Clarity doing so much parchment and Groovi, yet so comparatively little stamping and the art I love so much? Which comes so naturally to me? Like…
