Putting in the Action.

Putting in the Action.

Hi there. Thanks for popping in! Wednesday’s blog is the one where we get mindful, look at what we’re doing,  how we’re doing it,  and why we’re doing it! Well, I can tell you I am spending today with my parents; I shall take them for lunch to the nice farm shop they like. Why? Because they will enjoy it, because I can,  and because I love them. There aren’t many people in this world who love me unconditionally, as they…

Make a splash – with 2 new ink pads!

Hi there! Thanks for popping in! How’s it going?  Been following the swimming? Well done to Adam Peaty and Team GB.  I do enjoy the pool events. Definitely better at swimming than trampolining! When I was a student, I used to be a life guard, you know! Down the Black Lion in Gillingham. Pretty much lived down there every break we got. Loved it. Best job ever for a student! We have a fab set of Diver’s Stamps. Really retro…

TRAMPOLINE GOLD

TRAMPOLINE GOLD

Hiya! Thanks for popping in. Welcome to the Blogathon! Have we won any gold medals yet? So while we’re jumping around up in Peterborough  today and tomorrow at the studios, let’s have some fun here… Been looking at the list of activities. Although I quite fancy myself as an Artistic Gymnast,  I think I’ll sign up for the trampoline this year.  We have one in the garden, so it will be easy to train. Paul’s ready with the camera,  I’ve…

What have Andy Murray and tomorrow’s Groovi Plates got in common?

What have Andy Murray and tomorrow’s Groovi Plates got in common?

Olá (Portuguese for Hello!) Thanks for dropping in. What a beautiful sunny day it is here in the South-east! Did you watch the Opening Ceremony in Rio? It was one to remember… From poignant visual statements about climate change, to hosting the first team of no land, of world refugees, who – if you take the time to read their stories – deserve a gold medal just for getting there. Very humbling. And with a wonderful, uplifting crescendo,  the games…

Hello there! Welcome to the start of our  BLOGATHON ! The Rio Olympics kick off today until Sunday August 21st, So for the next fortnight,  here in Bloggylimpicksland, we shall be celebrating some phenomenal human feats of endurance, strength and ability.  These young people are living their dream, and in these distressing, violent times,  that can only be something to celebrate. If I could run, I’d be there too! #stillgoing…. What is your favourite discipline? I love most of it, but…

An Olympic BLOGATHON begins…

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Tomorrow, the Olympic Games commence  in Rio with the Opening Ceremony. I for one can’t wait. There has been so much controversy around doping,  and dismal reports regarding the Athletes’ Village. Apparently, the whole gig could cost Brazil over $20 billion – money that could perhaps have been much better spent on their nation.  But hey. They’ve made the host investment,  so let’s wish them well and pray for a fantastic fortnight for them. …

At long last….

At long last….

Hiya! How are you today? I’ve been pedalling away, getting ready for TV at the weekend, prepping the next New Design Club projects, and now I’ve come to chat to you before Dave gets home with the Chish & Fips! Wednesday is the day when we consider a mindful approach to life. What can we do to stop dwelling in the past? How can we stop our washing machine heads from being  on a permanent spin cycle? Is there a…
