Happy Joyous & Free

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Sunday’s blog a step by step and typical Gray, right? So before we trundle off to Ditton, to set up for the retreat week ahead, I thought I’d do a few warm up exercises, limber up as it were! It’s about time I got my all time ever favourite stamp out of the cupboard. Poor lad; he’s been feeling neglected…. And whilst we’re getting out the faves, how about the hills and moons masks?…

If you missed the shows, and you would like to have watched them, you can always play catch up on their website. Here is the demo I did last night,  to launch our lovely new Woodland Stamp collection. I appreciate that several of our blog friends live in other countries, or simply don’t do TV!…

Waste? I think not !!! A Stamp and Paper step by step x

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Let’s talk Background Designer papers and stamps today. The 4 books we launched in January have definitely hit the spot.  Get the set or buy them individually. If you’re anything like me, you hand on to every little piece and sliver. Can’t bear to throw it away, right? All those bits and pieces lend themselves perfectly to some layering, paper piecing…. We just need a starting point, and this lovely large Claritystamp will do…

Hi there. Greetings from Jersey, Day 3. We have been exploring the island today.  Elisabeth Castle absolutely fabulous. We walked across to it at low tide,  had a potted history of the island and the castle. Very, very interesting.  And as soon as it started raining, Dave and I dived into the cinema and watched the new Bridget Jones film. Very, very good too.  I do enjoy a pleasant, feel good movie, don’t you? But Saturday’s blog and time for…

Hi there! Thanks for popping in! And thanks to Paul for holding the Bloggy Fort  in my absence yesterday. Got back from the Fatherland yesterday evening and was very happy to sleep in my own bed. So here’s a simple step by step project for…

A Dove of Peace

A Dove of Peace

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. I thought we ought to broach the subject of Christmas today. It’s getting closer, you know! So how about a really easy Fusible Fibre project? First, let’s drag some Grunge paste through the starry stencil  on plain black card. Way too perfect. Let’s tear around the wreath! Replace the cleaned stencil over the dry stars, and add some Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar  with a make-up sponge. Next step, out with the white fusible…

Tonight I heard this strange noise in my artroom…

Hi there! Thanks for dropping in so late. I know. I just can’t seem to get ahead here. But hey. Haven’t missed a day yet! Long day at the office,  trying to get a handle on the mini explosion we are experiencing in the middle of our little company. The Groovi Revolution has turned us upside down! Sorry if we are slow in getting your orders out at the moment. It’s not for lack of motion, I can tell you!!! But…

It’s a Road Trip!!!

Howdi! Thanks for dropping in. Well here’s where we say goodbye to San Francisco, – it’s been great fun spending time with Mark – and HELLO OPEN ROAD! First stop Yosemite. The weather is a bit ropey apparently, but hey! The last time I was in Yosemite, I was driving a 40ft RV along a cliff edge in a storm. Mark was not even a year old. I remember it well. In fact, what I remember most clearly was my dear…
