Hi there! Thanks for stopping by today. I have prepared this Groovi Step by step project for TV tomorrow, but just in case I don’t get to it, or we run out of time and I have to go for option B, which is much faster and easier, here it is in slow motion! Ready? We are only using the Groovi Starter Kit and the trees which come in the kit, and the Square Nested Plate. Attach the parchment and…
Hi there! Nice of you to drop in. I’ve been packing things ready for TV tomorrow. Checking, double-checking. Honestly, I waste so much time going over stuff, to be sure to be sure. But then again, that means I can relax more on a 2 hour live tv show, safe in the knowledge that I’ve got at least 2 of everything I need, and at least 1 of loads I don’t need. Saturday’s Blog a new technique, right? Well, now…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in today. Early or what ?!?! Everything has had to wait today, because I wanted to share our latest little creation with you! Yesterday afternoon, the printer delivered the first batch of 2016 Calendars, (haha! Strange number to deliver, thought Mrs Literal) And oh Boy! Am I delighted with the quality! Hats off to Leanne and her team! It’s a calendar of some of my favourite past projects. Some blogged, some YouTubed. So a nostalgic collection…
Hello there! Thanks for popping in! How’s your day been? Mine has been excellent. I have been in high spirits and very productive. Demos are all in place for the TV shows on Sunday. 2-4pm and 6pm HOCHANDA. Well, I’ve got 7. That will be plenty, don’t you think? Love it when all the boxes are ticked. So I was just settling down to write to you, and I gazed out of the window, to ponder my direction…. and then of…
Hello there! Thanks for popping in. On Wednesday’s Blog, we look at art from the heart; not so much WHAT we do, but WHY we do it. And today, two words have surfaced in my mind: CREATIVITY and POSITIVITY. Why do we crafters spend every spare penny on inks, paints, papers and craft tackle? And every spare minute making cards, making art, being creative? Why do we strive to master artful techniques, go to workshops to learn more? Why oh…
Hello there. Thanks for popping in. What a beautiful day here in Kent & Sussex today! The colours are pretty spectacular, aren’t they? So I thought I would blog a painted card. Well, let’s qualify that. I thought I would go for a walk with paint on card. These Fresco Chalk Acrylic paints are excellent. On the Gelli Plate, on canvas, and of course, on card. Let’s keep it simple this evening, and stick to card. Which card? Our 7″…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in! Just got back from our Wedding Excursion (no, not ours!) and what lovely things were waiting to be played with… a fabulous brand new Fallen Leaves/Pond Leaves stencil AND a superb Pond Fish stencil! Both still in the sale until midnight tonight xxx Once I got over the shock of the side of the house not being there any more…. Welcome home Barb. Seriously. A few vertical tiles had come loose on the side…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. What a brilliant day we have had. Very good friends of ours got married today, and we were fortunate to be invited. So we got to spend the afternoon in the company of other good friends too. And I would love to share photos of the happy day, but you know what? It’s not my place to, and it’s not my story to tell. It’s theirs. So I shall tell you how much I…
Hello there. Thanks for popping in! Yesterday I mentioned that I had something I wanted to show you. Remember when we make lovely custom stamps with your names included? Well, as we’ve been going along, making the bespoke ones, we’ve also been making blank ones. Just a few with every batch. So now we have enough to talk about! I think it might be a good idea to have a few different blank Made by stamps, so we can actually sign our…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in this evening. Just got back home after a very pleasant evening in Tunbridge Wells, spent with good friends at the Assembly Halls. We watched Agatha Christie’s “And then there were None” It was such fun! We had a fine old time trying to guess who dunnit. I have to tell you I am rubbish at detective work! You never want me on your Cluedo Team!! Before that, Dave took me out for dinner, to…
