Hi there, Thanks for popping in! Still at work here. Trying to do some forward planning, although I seem to be burying myself in art and ideas here! So I thought I’d surface for half an hour and come chat to you! Yesterday, I blogged that Alcohol Ink piece with the Treescape stencil: and a couple of you asked me how I did it. I thought I’d send you to our Claritystamp YouTube Channel. It contains a substantial library of…

Fabulous Filigree Stamps and Groovi – a step by step.

Fabulous Filigree Stamps and Groovi – a step by step.

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Up with the songbirds this morning, so thought I would look at the week ahead. Lots to do, lots to consider. One of the highlights this week is on Wednesday 6pm on Hochanda TV, when our lovely Maria launches a collection of superb filigree stamps AND Groovi plates, designed by Mel. I got caught up playing with them yesterday evening – and they are pretty special. Decided to do a stamping step by step…

E for Easy Groovi

E for Easy Groovi

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Wanted to share a very simple Groovi piece I made recently, using one of those fab new funky framers that Linda Williams has come up with, combined with one of my floral Groovi ABC plates – the E for Edelweiss. I opted for one of the tangles frames… Very simple to complete. No cutting involved at all; just some basic whitework and colouring in. Coloured in from behind with Pergaliner pencils, and blended with…

VIOLA

VIOLA

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Spent the day with my parents – they are so interesting to be around! My Dad has such a dry sense of humour, and knows all about so much; and my Mum is as sharp as a needle – I’m pretty sure she’s phsychic! They have taught me so much in my life, and still I learn from watching them work their way through their days. I love listening to them reminisce or just…

Who did this work?

Who did this work?

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Been sat staring at the partition wall for the last half hour. You know, that glassy eyed stare, when Old man Time is telling you to call it a day… But then I refocussed, and looked at what was actually in front of me… So I took the time to kiss the photo, as you do, then checked to see who had made the crossword (clever Lynne Lee), and finally, read the wonderful poem….

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. It’s been a day of unpacking here at the house – and MEGA picking n packing at Clarity Towers!! Those nimble hands are working like bees’ wings to pick n pack your orders! It’s a great vibe though. Everybody’s glad to be busy! One of my favourite demos from the weekend was the simple new Waimea Falls paper landscape, using those fantastic landscape masks of ours, so if you don’t mind, I shall just do…

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. What a glorious August Bank Holiday it is! How fortunate for all the weddings, fayres and fêtes everywhere, too. I was most surprised this morning when I woke up and looked at the clock. 9.15 !! Good grief ! Can’t remember the last time I slept past 7 ! That’s what 6 full days of arty workshops do for you! I hope all the ladies got home safely and managed to avoid the bank…

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Sunday’s blog a step by step and typical Gray, right? So before we trundle off to Ditton, to set up for the retreat week ahead, I thought I’d do a few warm up exercises, limber up as it were! It’s about time I got my all time ever favourite stamp out of the cupboard. Poor lad; he’s been feeling neglected…. And whilst we’re getting out the faves, how about the hills and moons masks?…
