FREE Garden Heart Digital Download and a heart-to-heart.

FREE Garden Heart Digital Download and a heart-to-heart.

Hi there! Thank you for dropping in on this glorious morning here. I do hope the sun is shining on you today too.  Dave and I went down to Brighton yesterday afternoon, for a walk along the beach and to get away. Because sometimes that’s what you have to do. It’s hard to see the spot you’re standing on, but even a little distance can give you a better perspective.  So we strolled along from one end to the other,…

A Goosey Canvas and a Super Sale

A Goosey Canvas and a Super Sale

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Let’s get the geese out. I have had a hankering to to a Goose Canvas for ages…. Probably because right by the kettle in the kitchen, (and I do visit the kettle muchly…) there is a little window, and in that little window  sits another Goosey effort of mine, in a poppy field… So here’s a new one. Let’s start with the geese…. Stamp the pair on a piece of white tissue paper  using Archival…

Parchment Art just got a WHOLE LOT MORE INTERESTING….

Hi there! Thanks for popping in! One tired but excited old Hector here! Sorted out and completed the New Design Clubs today, set out the project sheets, wrote them all up, did the lot. Which is no mean feat for 3 clubs. With a little help from Jim, it all went to the printers this evening and I am fit to drop. Then I remembered the blog, and actually thought it might lift my spirits, because to be perfectly honest, …

Kind Hearts are the Gardens.

Kind Hearts are the Gardens.

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Sun’s shining and I would love to take a walk through the bluebells before it gets dark, so here’s a quickie before I grab Dave and make for the woods! It’s a 5 minute card, using one of our background papers, which I shall resurrect next week and get loaded onto the website. Jim and I designed a bunch of them a while ago,  and they really are so useful –  especially when the…

A Scottish Castle and a Runaway Train….

A Scottish Castle and a Runaway Train….

Hi there. Thanks for popping in today. Was thinking about Scotland today. Don’t know why, but I was. Decided to make a piece of art  to celebrate a very beautiful country. I wish we had more time to be able to explore Scotland,  but I must be careful what I wish for! So I shall just content myself with half an hour  making a simple picture of a Scottish castle…. Found a grey, purple pink Acrylic paint piece  where I…

What a day !!!!!!!

What a day !!!!!!!

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Sorry I’m so late today. Didn’t get back from London until late, and by the time you’ve cooked the meal, served it and eaten it, the time rattles on past. Bushed now though. Went to War of the Worlds last night at the Dominion Theatre. Blimming brilliant. I was enthralled from start to finish – and it was a good 2 1/2 hours long. It is what you would call a masterpiece. The music,…

When in doubt, get the Bird-Boy out! And a Bloggy Offer…

Hi there! Thanks for popping in on this lovely Thursday. Dave and I are off up to London today, in readiness for a business meeting on Friday. Dave’s got tickets for a show this evening – it’s a surprise. And I do love a surprise, don’t you?? Mind you, if it’s a Death Metal Band, he’s on his own! Thursday’s Blog is always blue, so let’s make a card together, shall we? And then let’s have a little bloggy sale…….

Waxing and waning….

Waxing and waning….

Hi there. Mindful Wednesday. Mmmm. Still recovering from Ally Pally here! It’s all very, very hectic at Clarity Towers, so I came home for a nap. Yep.  My Mum always tells me, a little cat nap in the afternoon is all it takes. Just 20 minutes does the trick… Works for me every time. I think it’s the switch-off.  It’s the momentary shutdown – rather like meditation,  but really thorough! And none of us are getting any younger, are we??…

They’re at it in the garden!!!

They’re at it in the garden!!!

Hi there, Hope Tuesday is behaving for you? We are spinning like tops as usual, but I have to tell you, we wouldn’t have it any other way. The only challenge is striking a balance between a booming business and an overwhelming business. Here’s a masterpiece by Dee, using our lovely 3 new Baby Magpie Plates: Paul and I dissected it and prepared it for a TV show, but never got to show it off. Nonetheless, teamwork makes the dream work,…

Serenitree…..

Serenitree…..

Hello there! Monday after Ally pally. Ugh. I feel like I’ve been through a wash cycle and hung out to dry.  What a weekend. The vibe was so special and,  dare I say it – more like the good old days. So here is a short but sweet little tree demo for days like today, when you can barely string a sentence together. Ink up one of the little trees from the Wee Trees set in Fern green Archival and…
