New Polka Dot Stencil

New Polka Dot Stencil

Hi there! How has your day been? Mine is still going strong! I am up to my elbows in paint, and having a fine old time! 4 hours later: It all started with a brand new Polka Dot Stencil, which Jim designed and presented me with this evening  on the way out of the door at 6.  “There’s 24 spots!” he said, “brilliant for an advent calendar”. True. I will leave that one with you …. So this is it,…

A Dove of Peace

A Dove of Peace

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. I thought we ought to broach the subject of Christmas today. It’s getting closer, you know! So how about a really easy Fusible Fibre project? First, let’s drag some Grunge paste through the starry stencil  on plain black card. Way too perfect. Let’s tear around the wreath! Replace the cleaned stencil over the dry stars, and add some Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar  with a make-up sponge. Next step, out with the white fusible…

A quick n easy, chirpy card.

Hello there! Thanks for popping in. I really ought to get up early and blog,  rather than leave it to the end of the day…  However. Getting up is soooooo haaaaaard…… Anyway, here’s a little card again,  inspired by a get well soon card that Linda Spencer sent for Dave, using all the birds I could find scattered around my art-room. 10 Minutes start to finish. Note to self: must put birds away! Cut a 7″ x 7″ Piece of Gelli Card…

Big Tit – Small Canvas.

Big Tit – Small Canvas.

Hi there. Rainy Sunday, or what?! Thanks for popping in. First day off in a while, but what a brilliant week we had in Crowborough at the Retreats. I thought I would dig out a little canvas board today,  a really little canvas board, a 4″ x 4″. If you are new to canvases, I think it is a good idea to start small. This is smaller than your average card, so no big shakes at all. And as we…

Tissue Town and an early night!

Tissue Town and an early night!

Hi there. Good of you to drop in. Day 1 of the Crowborough Retreats went very well. What a lovely group of arty individuals! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Long day, but all the prep paid off, I think. Before I stop though, I would like to go back a day, to yesterday’s Canvas blog; the yellow grunge town stencil: While I was making this one yesterday, I was also making a second one, with the second ink of the first…

Not defeat. Just Plan B !

Hi there, Well, that’s day one of the week almost done. Did you enjoy your Monday? Mine was hectic, but productive. Lots of plate spinning; no casualities – yet! So let’s chillax and do a little canvas. That’s what I fancy. A little canvas. Nothing too big. Not today. I think I’ll go with a 6″ x 6″. Good, manageable size. First things first. Let’s brayer a layer of Concrete  or Cheesecake Fresco Acrylic Chalk Paint. Couldn’t find my Cheesecake……

Groovi TV Snowflakes Step by Step.

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. I only just got home myself! After a very busy morning at the studios, (busy is a bit of an under-statement!) I went to Mum and Dads for lunch,  and spent the afternoon chatting with them. Loved it. They are such smashing people. So while Dave is looking for a good film for us to watch, I have shot upstairs to chat to you and share the first demo from today’s TV show. I…
