Hi there, Thanks for popping in. 76 days to Christmas… Sounds like ages away yet. That’s actually 10 weeks. Ought to start thinking about it. Well, at least not dismiss it entirely! We’re way, WAY too busy to be leaving ANYTHING until the 11th hour nowadays; you just never know what’s lurking in the shadows, waiting to trip you up! Anyway, decided to make my first card of the season, and show off those very useful Christmas stickers that landed…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Sorry I am so late. Running a business involves a lot of things – not least accountants and finances. We are very fortunate to have an accountant who is not only very switched on, but also a really nice guy. I always look forward to his visits – which is a first! Up until this guy, accountants always fell in the same category as dentists for me – a necessity but never a pleasure!…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Running around now, setting up the next counter. What a two hours that was! I KNEW you would love these! And in Groovi too. What a fabulous job Cherry has done. Here’s that technique which I want to share – I just love it! I have used the Bird of Paradise, which just flew out the door, together with the Butterfly, the Dragonfly AND the Seahorse!! You could do this negative painting type technique…
Hi there Thanks for popping in! Trundling down the A1 in the white van. Big jams bumper to bumper. Way too many cars on this little island. I’m guessing somebody’s having a rough day. So whilst we sit in traffic, 2 hours in and still north of Doncaster, I thought I’d chat to you on my phone! Blogging on the go! Can you believe it? I can sit in a truck and write a blog on my phone. What a…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. What a day! A big thank you to all those of you who travelled to Leyburn today, and joined in the Clarity Celebration. It certainly was enjoyable from start to finish. Great to see so many good and loyal friends, and so many new faces! I think it‘s fair to say that a good time was had by all. All 300 + visitors! Got so much to tell you! But it will have to…
Hi there, All action here! Just had a splendid meal at Heather and Len‘s with the Clarity team. What a spread! Ate way too much and laughed till I cried with Sam Crowe. Everything is set and ready for tomorrow‘s Open Day at Tennants; we beavered away all day, filling the racks and hooks, and figuring out the drill tomorrow – and it went like clockwork. Like a well oiled machine – that‘s us! It‘s a big operation, it really…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Perfect day for crafting here! Bit of drizzle, bit overcast – as I said, ideal for a pot of tea and a craftalong! Now a couple of days ago, I posted a finished card… …and invited you to guess how I made it. The incentive to join in was a £25 Clarity Gift Voucher, and oh boy! Several of you got soooooo close! But only one of you pretty much nailed it: SUSAN WHITE !…
Hi there Thanks for popping in. Woke up this morning, and decided that it looked like a perfect day to have a good day – so we did. Just got back from a delightful adventure at a Woodland festival in the woods at Bentley, near Lewes. You meet such great characters at these gigs, you really do! Check out this little empire! We did!! Andy from Cumbria was so interesting. Lovely fella, too. Kind. We knew him from Glastonbury, so…
Hi there Thanks for popping in. It’s Pottery day today, so I am off to potter shortly! But I am also really excited about the new Filigree Stamps and Groovi plates that our Maria is showcasing this evening at 6pm. They are right up my street! So I did another little card this morning, using a painty scrap and the BEAUTY pair. Time to go to pottery now. I was thinking about spending the afternoon on the wheel for a…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in! Still at work here. Trying to do some forward planning, although I seem to be burying myself in art and ideas here! So I thought I’d surface for half an hour and come chat to you! Yesterday, I blogged that Alcohol Ink piece with the Treescape stencil: and a couple of you asked me how I did it. I thought I’d send you to our Claritystamp YouTube Channel. It contains a substantial library of…
