Some Partial Art – and More Blog Candy!

Hi there. Thanks for popping in! And Thank you so much for joining yesterday in the 100 Hours SHAC Celebrations! Recently in the SHAC-Shack we ventured up to the Water colour end of the Pergaliner pencil box, right? So how about a simple little step by step here, using both ends of the box – and our lovely Petite watercolour Journal.. I have done a little page to commemorate the 100 hours, using just part of one of the entwined…

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Yesterday on HOCHANDA TV, Paul and I were showcasing those 2-way Overlay Christmas Baubles of ours. They are so easy to use – and you can make many cards quickly too, which isn’t always strictly necessary. But if you are making cards to sell, or cards for charity – or you have a HUGE family – then you can’t be spending days on one card, now can you?! Here are a couple of examples…

The Circle of Life

The Circle of Life

Hi there. Thanks for popping in! Hotter than yesterday here in the Southeast. To hot to move around much, except for a long walk, cool under the canopy of the greenwood trees. That was wonderful. It’s been what one could call a mini holiday actually. A combination of extreme heat and our friend Jilly’s company stopped me hopping about, working, cleaning, planning, doing bla bla bla. In fact, Wurka and Hollick didn’t get a look in today. I even had…

A Tree Stencil Step by Step

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Many thanks for supporting our HOCHANDA TV shows yesterday. The Stamps and Stencils are among my absolute favourites. Here’s another easy step by step demo using the Tree and birds stencil which didn’t make the demo cut! Like I said, got carried away and made too many – even for a 2 hour show! Ready? This is pretty cool actually…. Place the stencil on an 8×10 Gelpress. Cover the whole stencil and the Gel…

Tomorrow at 2pm it’s HOCHANDA TV time, and we’re getting some of my all time Clarity faves out of the cupboard. The Flyaway Boy, for starters. Stamped on our new fabulous Stampboard. Blimming excellent. Here’s a little demo which didn’t get recorded for TV. Not because it didn’t cut the mustard!…

Bring on the Glitz with Blitz!

Hi there. Haven’t played with a die for a while. Found this trap-the-scrap piece from one of our Fresh Cut Funky Foliage Leave & Trees Dies, and decided to turn it into a card for someone special. She likes a little bling, so here goes…. Trap the white card scrap from the die on a double-sided adhesive sheet. Then simply cover it in Gilding flakes. We sell lots of different colours – really nice! Use the yellow sponge to buff…

Water Colour Toadstools !

Water Colour Toadstools !

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Just a quickie. So glad this morning’s water colour SHAC-Shack was well received! I think we’ll have a good week, developing those new ideas and perhaps trying them out on different subjects! I had a real hankering to colour in our toadstools from last week’s woods, but was way too busy with so much else all afternoon. I saw somebody else on facebook had done it too, beautifully, and wanted to try it even…
