But that’s for ‘Best’!

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Ready for a little trip down Memory Lane? Ready for a little banter, a ramble? Just got back from spending a lovely day with Mum. She’s doing great, and it’s good to spend time together, talking and reminiscing about Dad and the good old days, the GOOD times. How different things were back when we were kids though! Just the fact that we went OUT for lunch together today.. We never ever went out…

Easy as 123….. with Tina

Easy as 123….. with Tina

Hi there Thanks for popping in. I’m going upstairs to my little art-studio above the garage for the first time in months. I had prepped the TV show for January, but then that weekend Dad died, so Paul jumped in. I haven’t been back up there since. It’s time. You know what I mean. I am going back on Telly next Wednesday, to launch the 6pm ODS, so I’d best be prepared; better for the head to be ahead of…

Come and join the party!

Hi there Thanks for popping in. It’s a winter wonderland here in the southeast. Bit of chaos on the roads as always too. Dave had a time of it trying to navigate the company van through Kent early this morning, but he’s a good driver. I think he was glad to get back behind the wheel of his 4-wheel drive truck though! As for me, I’m on drawing duty, editing duty and general planning duty. And now I’m feeling brighter…

It’s Tuesday and it’s Design of the Week !

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Had a great morning drawing and designing a new collection of stamps. This also involved pinging texts back and forth to Sam and Leonie, whilst we lay the foundations to our plans. But it’s Tuesday, which means we are shining a light on yet another one of my favourite ranges – and bringing the price down for a week by 30% – to celebrate our 30th year in business. Time for some deer and…

An invincible Summer

Hi there Thanks for popping in. First day back in the office today. Went well. Enjoyed seeing everyone. Felt good to be back in the saddle. It’s the first day I have really felt well, not wiped out. Like we’ve turned a corner. So grateful! Nearly forgot to blog though, because I was so busy doing nothing! Well, one eye on a jigsaw puzzle and the other watching Jack Whitehall – Travels with my Father. Blimming funny. I have a…

Crows v Magpies

Crows v Magpies

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Dave and I were watching a load of crows in the sky, and I remembered ages ago in the SHAC how we‘d had a cool session, learning all the collective nouns and names for the various groups of birds. Could I remember the Crows? A Parliament of crows I thought, but then I was pretty sure the Owls were also a parliament. …so what do you do? You let your fingers do the walking,…

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Went to see the consultant today. All in all, a positive outcome. Blood infection well down, having been through the roof, oxygen levels healthy. It was the X-ray which took me aback. I was quite surprised to see how not symmetrical the lungs were. The consultant explained that the diaphragm had moved up and taken the liver with it, to fill the gap the infection had created. He then went on to expain that…

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Hahaha. Talk about click bait! Sorry. But you can bet your bottom dollar more folks will click on Glorious Tits than they will Glorious Garden Birds!! All those disappointeds….ahhhhh…. Just came back from the most glorious sunset up on the forest. It’s a good walk. Flat, not hilly, and just the right distance with a bench or two. I certainly know I’ve done it, but not in a bad way x You know Spring…

It’s a cat’s life!

Hi there Thanks for popping in. I watched Ragnar today, one of our little Viking boys, sleeping soundly in the kitchen. Did he care that it was 11 in the morning? Nope, did he heck! They sleep when they want, they sleep where they want. They eat when they want too. They sit by the kitchen door when they want to go out, they pose at the kitchen window when they want to come back in. Sometimes Erik and Ragnar…
