Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Just got in from Ally Pally. What a day! It was packed! In all the many years we have done that show, it has never been so busy. And we had a much bigger stand this time too!! So Dave has shot out to get the curry, and my job is to lay the table, heat the plates and blog! So it’s a quickie!! How about a limerick? We haven’t had a limerick competition…
Hi there. Just go in the door after setting up for the Exhibition this weekend at Ally pally. Friday’s blog a private peek, right? Well I want to talk about Maya Angelou today. She would have been 90 years old this week. She was my shero. She made me laugh, cry, think and learn. What an inspirational woman, eh? All woman, that woman. I was sitting in the Glide Church in San Francisco many moons ago, when I lived there,…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Thursday’s blog is always blue, right? Well I thought I would step by step that calamity of a demo from TV on Sunday. You know the one – when the paint stuck to the Gelplate and the print wouldn’t shift. Ah well. It happens to the best of us! And what can you do on LIVE TV except keep on truckin?? I did figure out something though – alcohol ink definitely dries the Gel…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Very happy to be a crafter today! Why? Well, Alexa made me think this morning. Gosh, I thought. She recognises my voice, she answers my requests and she even tells me jokes. Every now and then, Siri pipes up with “Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that”. It’s all around us. AI. And we thought it would never happen, didn’t we? Well, I did. Not in my lifetime, I said. When I was at university,…

Hi there. Thanks for joining me on this overcast, cloudy day. Just ticking a few boxes for the TV shows on HOCHANDA tomorrow. Demo Boxes packed, tick. Art samples packed, tick. Producer notes written and photocopied, tick. That’s another little hidden job which always needs doing, you see.
