Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Just got off the phone from lovely Maria. She’s all set to launch our Mini Groovi Starter Kit. “Just a little lippy – and I’m good to go!” she chirped down the phone. She’s well excited about the smaller Starter Kit. Like she says, it’s a really lovely gift size, and at the One Day Special price, it’s also very affordable for somebody wanting to get going with Groovi. We launched the smaller version…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. I have had a play this evening, and I thought perhaps you might enjoy a little challenge…. Below we have two cards, made with that oh so lovely Leafy Swirl aperture die of ours: If I were to tell you that both of these cards were made together, from the same cut, could you figure it out? Could you work out how I made a dark glittery one and a glossy white one from…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Just got an hour to spend with you before I shoot off to POTTERY. Woohoo!! I have missed not one but two weeks now, because of TV and the NEC. So I am über-excited about a few hours playing with clay. Who knew that this would become my passion.. and I know exactly what I still have to do before I can move on to the next project: wax my fat friend’s bottom and…
Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Oh boy! I have had a day off today. Switched off from Clarityworld and all that mallarkey, and just poodled, tidied and cleaned the house all day. Was completely engrossed in something on the box just now. “Don’t you have to blog today, Darling?” asked Dave. And you’d have thought I’d just had a blast of 40 volts up my derriere!! Sorry xxxx So here’s a delightful little Youtube, starring dear Paul. He is…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. For! I just saw which stamp set is on offer this month! Boy oh boy. If I’s had 50 of these with us at the NEC I could have sold every single one! There was a particular piece of artwork using these stamps one of the artboard which clearly drew people in – and I must say, it was very lovely. But this stamp set has to be one of our very best, don’t…
Hi there! Thanks for joining me here in the hotel room again. We seem to be making a habit of this! Had a cracking day at the NEC today mind! The show was excellent. Busy, friendly and just generally a bit good! The TV show with Leonie was great fun, the new stamps went down well (I blimming love them) and Lou Withers was a delight to have with us on the team. Tomorrow is the last day, Day 4….
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Am back at the hotel kicking back before dinner, whilst dear Dave trundles down the motorway to pick up more stock of some key things we’ve already sold out of. What a busy day! The show is generally quieter than the November NEC, but that’s ok. It means we can have good chats with old friends, and folks in wheelchairs are able to see more and move around more comfortably . Linda had a…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Just got back to the hotel room. Cream-crackered after Day 1 at the NEC. But so many lovely and familiar craft friends made the effort to attend, that I actually had a fab day. It was slower than usual, but in fairness whilst that wouldn’t be ideal for the exhibitors, it was much better for visitors, who could get round easily, without having to battle through the usual throng of people. And it meant…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Been a long old birthday at the NEC, I can tell you! Got up to Birmingham really early, and yet STILL didn’t leave the building till 7pm. So much space – and yet it was still too small! Still too cramped. We grow into space, don’t we! It’s like at our house. I’ve got a walk-in wardrobe which you can’t get in because it’s so rammed full. And I can’t get into half the…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Trying to get everything ready for the NEC here. We want to get out and on the road by 6am, so the van is all packed and ready to roll. I’m ticking and checking my demo stash and TV boxes – if we’ve forgotten anything, well, it’s nothing terminal, is it? If I have forgotten a stampset, then I will just have to crack open a new set, won’t I! The stand is nearly…
