Hi there, Thanks for popping in! Busy Monday here at Clarity Headquarters! So much for my theory that May is always the slowest month of the year! Always was. Isn’t this year!! I want to crack on with some new designs this evening. Dave is pulling a long shift, to catch up with all those stampsets you good people invested in at the weekend, so I thought this might be an excellent opportunity to throw myself into some new ideas…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. How’s your Sunday going? Mine has been delightful thus far. Stepped away from the Clarity plate for a day, pottered around the house, listening to a really brilliant novel, The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock, by Imogen Hermes Gowar. All about Victorian London and prostitutes. It has me gripped, for sure! In fact, I am writing quickly, because I must get back and find out what is afoot! Dave was up and out the door…
Hi there, Thought I‘d chat to you in between shows. What a busy time we are having here at Hochanda! Thank you so much for watching, and showing Dee how much you like her New designs. They sold out in the 9am show, and now we are chomping through another load of delayed despatch stock! Magic. Dee is over the Moon, and so are we all. I have got a stinking headache, so I shall keep it sweet and short…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Just on my way out to the TV studios at HOCHANDA. The day has finally come to launch lovely Dee Fitzsimmon’s enchanting Character stamps, Faith, Joy, Hope and Brave: When I first saw the finished artwork, I fell in love with her artwork. It is so gentle, yet so empowering. So she and Lucy, one of our leading Clarity designers, set about turning her coloured illustrations into stamps, so that others could play with…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. What a glorious day we have had down here in the south. There was a bad car accident outside Brighton this morning, so some poor soul was not having a great day. Sally sat nav diverted me away from the problem area and took me the scenic route, along the South Downs Way. What a beautiful stretch! I mean, what should have taken just over an hour took almost 3, but the views were…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Just finished watching our Maria on Hochanda. Didn’t she do well?! I loved her demos with the new Allium die and stencil! And only Maria could think of using the Mirrormist spray on Bubblewrap! Very clever. Here are a couple of lovely art samples to show off the die, created by another very clever lady, Dee Paramour. I am taking the day off tomorrow, to drive down and visit Dee, spend the day with…
Hi there. Thanks for popping in. It’s a great Groovi Youtube by our Becca this week! Really lovely! Well done, Becca!!! There is so much useful information crammed in this video! I hope you enjoy… Our Sam Crowe has been here this week, recording more Youtubes, and I did a bunch last week too. So we are banking plenty now, and mixing up the topics too. Just need paul in the building for a day, and then get…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Monday Monday, eh. But it has been a pleasure to do today today! The lovely Dee Fitzsimmons and I have been preparing for her very special TV début on Friday evening on HOCHANDA. Once we got Sam settled into recording youtubes with Simon, I turned my attention to the wonderful mixed media collection of beautiful character stamps illustrated by Dee. We are launching them together. Not that Dee needs my help, but when I…
Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Got back from a fabulous weekend with my dear friend Anita, and decided to do a little arty step by step before another good friend turns up all the way from the North East! Sam Crowe is en route! Woohoo!! I am indeed very lucky to have so many good people in my life. But let me get this artwork sorted first. You see, Lovely Lou is doing a One Day Special right now…
Thanks for popping in. Have been having a splendid time in a Kentish Spa with my dear friend Anita. This is her gift to me for my 60th. Very generous and very special! Been a total water baby today. There are several pools and water massage power shower things. One was pretty savage! I swear it would have knocked my face off if I had dared face it! More like water boarding than water games! I stuck at it though….
