Time to chillax….

Time to chillax….

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Just got lost in some colouring in. Such a relaxing, therapeutic thing to do, don’t you agree? I took Tina’s floral bouquet, and stamped it onto a scrap which has been hanging around my artroom for ages. It’s on our Clarity coated cardstock, hence the ultra glossy finish. Years ago, when we used to use this card, we struggled to apply colour to it. It was tricky to stamp on, and it was tricky…

Hi there, Just got home. Lots of puddles to navigate our way through, plus as many road closures. Happy to be back in the nest. Just wanted to thank you for making this telly weekend simply super. Sales were excellent across all shows, and the Classroom Craftalong with lovely Janice a pleasure. What a smashing woman she is! Churchie kept us both in check, and is such a rock. In the meantime, Dave, Brother Steve and Sean performed a small…

Hi there, Thanks for popping in! So glad you like those Chinese Lanterns we showcased today! Here’s a photo step by step of the afternoon canvas! Hi there, Friday’s blog a private peek? Thanks for popping in. All set for the weekend’s entertainment. 5 hours live TV. Saturday: 11am, 2pm and 4pm. Sunday 2-4pm. Tell any human being outside of our TV bubble that you are set to do 5 TV hours of live art demos, and they will be dismayed. “What? Live, as in real time? Not recorded ?” “Correct.” However, despite being asked this often when trying to access certain internet platforms, I still…

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Tying up preps and demos for this weekend. Our clever Saffron created these – blimming excellent – so brilliant to use! Paul and I will be working together, and he will be demonstrating the Groovi version of these designs. Clever Karen Jackson has masterminded the demos for us, and Paul…

Which Hat today?

Which Hat today?

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Are you a hat person? Do you wear hats? Does it keep you warm? Well, if you pull it right down, it keeps your ears warm for sure! That old wive’s tale about all the heat escaping out the top of your head is a load of old baloney apparently. But I must admit, I do feel warmer when I cover my head, don’t you? Mel drew a spectacular set of Hats, Shoes and…

Trip down Memory Lane…

Trip down Memory Lane…

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. All systems go here, so if I want to calm it Kermit, it’s always best to hide away and get arty for an hour. When I lose myself in being arty-crafty, that washing machine head of mine stops spinning, the voices shut up telling me what to think, and I actually seem leave the vortex that is my life at the moment, and just focus happily on whatever it is I am making. So…

All you need is Love…

All you need is Love…

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Still blowing a hooley out there tonight. I do hope you are warm, dry and safe. Thought I would do a quick step by step for you, using that wonderful floral bouquet which our lovely Tina illustrated… And it all starts with a piece of copy paper and a Gelpress acrylic print. Now some would say this looks like a piece of scrap (careful!) ; I say if you don’t like the English weather,…
