Pandora’s Box

Pandora’s Box

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Well, patience is a virtue  when it comes to our Shaving Foam technique! Remember yesterday,  I left the second piece overnight, and didn’t blot it, so we could see what would happen? The shaving foam completely disappeared by itself, leaving a perfect and permanent print. VERY COOL RESULT. I recall a very striking piece I did a couple of years ago using the shaving foam technique. Very fitting today, the 11th November, Armistice Day….

Distressed? Get over it!

Distressed? Get over it!

Hi there! Hahaha!  What a ploy, using a cryptic title like that to spark your curiosity!  You thought I was going in for a rant, right? No way, José ! I have got far more important things to do  than sweat about stuff I can’t do diddly about. In fact, today is a day off for me. We are going to a K T Tunstall concert this evening. I love her and her energy – not to mention her music!…

And thus spake the People.

And thus spake the People.

Hiya! Thanks for popping in today. Went to bed last night fully expecting Trump to win. Woke up to the news that he had.  There you go. The American people have spoken  with their ballots.  We shall see how it all plays out…. Whether you agree with the result,  or don’t  is neither here nor there. It is what it is, and only time will tell. I for one am glad at least that all that ugly, divisive campaigning  is…

A leafy stampy stencilly bloggy offer ….

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. The sun is pouring through the windows here. Absolutely glorious. And the colours of the leaves on the trees! I think this is my favourite time of year. How about you? We have a very old ginkgo tree in our back garden. It is the last tree to get its dainty green dress on in the springtime; then at this time of year – almost overnight –  its bright green coat turns a light…

A night to remember…

A night to remember…

Hi there! Thanks for dropping in! Enjoying a day off here. Went to Waitrose this morning. Quite a novel experience actually. It has been an age since I went grocery shopping,  so it was rather pleasant just wandering up and down the aisles, picking a bit of this and that and what you fancy. Sorry state of affairs when your work schedule has gone so far off course that a trip to the supermarket is a treat! Anyway, one of…

Great show, great customers, great Clarity team  and the best 5th November ever!  I will tell you all about it tomorrow,  when I’m back in my own little zone. Am…

My best friend……

My best friend……

Hiya! Greetings from the NEC! Another  super busy day, filled with arty crafters, familiar faces and much fun. It was almost time to call it a day, when these two lovely Welsh ladies,  Anne and Jan with a plan, came by and rounded off the day nicely with a giggle and a banter. The signal here is no good, so I will have to keep it short and sweet again. Here’s a little demo I did at some point today,…

Poinsettia – the first red flash of Christmas

Poinsettia – the first red flash of Christmas

Hi there! Sorry, but the signal here is dire. So this blog is going to be short n sweet.    After a long day 1 at the NEC, I really am struggling to stay awake! It was fun though, and great to see so many familair faces. Very quiet I must say. Although we were kept hopping on the Clarity Stand, the hall was much reduced in size and very uncrowded compared to usual. So how about a super simple,…
