Moonwalk on the Ashdown Forest.

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Beautiful sunny day here,  so Dave and I are going for a long walk this afternoon, across the Ashdown Forest. So look at this paper leaf.  It’s from the new Rainbow River pad. Can you see what I see? Squint a bit, and relax your gaze… Let’s trim it back a little, focus on the centre. How about we add a few bushes in the front, a couple of hills and a moon? In…

Gratitute & Friendship

Gratitute & Friendship

Hi there. Thanks for popping in! Have had a super day today.  There has been a real shift in my worn out little head. And it all has to do with two things: Gratitude & Friendship Gratitude & Friendship Word Chain No 8 Firstly, I made a conscious decision  to dispel N. E. Neggertivity. He’s been shown the door  – he’s out. Only B. Positive is allowed to live rent-free in my head  from now on. This was activated by pressing…

Indecision may or may not be my Problem…

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Wednesday’s blog is the one where we look not so much at what we craft, but WHY we craft. And today I am so grateful that I can. Now if only I could make up my mind which direction to take,  it would all be peachy…  Talk about dither!!! I am supposed to be prepping the launch hour for Sunday,  but I’m spinning like a top in my head. So, what’s the problem Barbie?…

Rainbow River – Take 2

Rainbow River – Take 2

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Remember yesterday we stamped Mel’s beautiful finch stamp on a sheet of the new, yet-to-be-launched-on-Sunday-at-6pm-on-HOCHANDA Rainbow River Designer Paper? And I said we’d try the same stamp on the same paper design,  but on parchment instead? Voila Just in case you haven’t figured it out yet,  all the paper pads come as parchment too. So you get the colourful, original, wild backgrounds  – but on the parchment itself. Stamp on the front, the more matte…

Rainbow River – a Liquid Rainbow

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Blustery but sunny day here. The leaves are tumbling. The ginkgo leaves are the last to fall in our garden, so we should have a bright yellow carpet of them by the end of the week. Will keep you posted…. All this natural loveliness right outside the kitchen window! We’re lucky – and we know it. Speaking of beautiful colours…. The new Designer Paper and Parchment is in the building! Being launched next Sunday…

Joan of Arc – still a legend.

Joan of Arc – still a legend.

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Can’t stop long – it’s 7 am, we have to get to work at the Parchment Show in Harrogate, Cedar Court Hotel (be there or be square!) and I know I won’t get a signal later in the van on the way back to Kent, to write to you. Some names in history stand out, don’t they? Like Joan of Arc. We read about her at school, and unfortunately for her, the next thing…
