There’s no place like home…

There’s no place like home…

Hi there. A quick hi and bye from me this evening. Just got in from the NEC. Long day, but pleasant day. Met a lot of lovely peeps again. Our lads drove up from Kent, to help break the stand down quickly and efficiently this evening; Dave had planned ahead this year, got the van into pole position in the loading bay – and we were out withing 2 hours. Teamwork makes the dream work once again. All in all,…

2 down – 2 to go!

2 down – 2 to go!

Hi there! Greetings from the NEC. Bumped into a few friends, as you can see. A right old motley crew!!!! Busy, bustling day on the Clarity Stand. While Paul pedals away at one end, showing off the Groovi system, I’m ploughing my way through the new bauble stamps, even did some shrink plastic with the heat-gun. Great fun!!! Time to go out for a nice meal. There’s a great restaurant in Meridan called The Barn. Great food. Nice ambience….Taking Norma…

What a result! 19-7!!!

What a result! 19-7!!!

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Did you watch the rugby this morning? What a game! You had to see the English team come out of the starting blocks. It was unbelievable. They were 7 points up on New Zealand 90 seconds in! I was jumping round the living room like a nutter! Did my throat in screaming at the telly, too! What a work out! Made all the sweeter by the fact that our Mark was in the stadium…

It works. It really does.

It works. It really does.

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Woke up with a washing machine head this morning – a real spin cycle. Don’t ask me why. I guess it just happens when there are a few uncertainties, a few changes. (Maybe it’s Pottery withdrawal?! Half term!) But TV prep was the order of the day, regardless of the scatterbrain. The show must go on, right?! And there was no way I could blog with that head on me! So I settled down…

Dash about.

Dash about.

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Bit of a runaround today. Correction. Lot of a runaround today. Dashing here, dashing there. Playing catch up because I took a couple of days off. Trying to cram a full day into a morning, because I want to get to my pottery class in the afternoon. Get there an hour late late. Pottery was fun though. Lace in porcelain. How fab is that?! Dash back home and crack on with what got left…

A Night to remember…

A Night to remember…

Hi there! Thanks for popping in! I can spill the beans now! Mum’s birthday surprise yesterday was a wonderful, posh meal on a very lovely pullman carriage. They had no idea. It was tipping down when we set off, cats n dogs as they say, and I know my parents were wondering who on earth would venture out in flood warning weather! But I’d paid a pretty penny for this little soirée – and we were doing it! Their faces…

Hi there, Thanks for popping in! Just got in from a crazy day of potty pottery ! Despite the abismal weather, we stuck to the plan, had our Raku day in the rain – and actually had a total blast. Rain – Raku – BONKERS!!! Now this is what you call dedication! Look!!! But we weren’t to be put off by a little bit of good old British rain! We set up camp in the garage, draped a tarp over…

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. What a fab Selly Telly Weekend we had on HOCHANDA! Just so busy! Cherry’s beautiful stamps, then Tina and Jim’s Picot Flowers! Unreal! And what a pleasure it was too! Really fun! Let me introduce you to the Sunday crew…we worked our socks off! Sam Crowe on HOCHANDA. What a splendid idea! Well, she did her screen test on Sunday, and nailed it brilliantly. Now she’s down here at Clarity Towers for the week,…

Good job I’m married!

Good job I’m married!

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. It’s 8.30 pm. Been up here in my little cubby hole aka artroom, beavering away at prep since 7.30 am. No need to cook; Dave’s up in Port Sunlight. No need to even go indoors really, except to put the kettle on or powder me nose, as they say! I’m in good company here, with Wurka and Hollick – they’ve definitely moved in. The minute they knew Dave was away, those two pesky gits…

Sky’s the limit!

Sky’s the limit!

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Late back from my parents. Decided to spend some time with them – not least because they have moved from Virgin to Sky, and the whole TV-dish-modem-internet-phone process was taking place today, some time between 8am and 1pm. Which it duly did. All done and dusted, (even behind the telly!) and such a much MUCH better deal! Why did they decided to migrate? The catalyst came when they just could not find HOCHANDA to…
