We strolled through Little Italy – North beach – the other day, and there was a live band on the corner of Columbus and Broadway, blasting out that iconic SF tune. People singing and dancing in the street – and many of them dressed like our hippy chicks! This look is SO TRENDING OVER HERE!! Add cowboy boots and we are golden!

Paul Church is showcasing the Groovi plate equivalent of these lovely girls on Hobbymaker today, between 1 and 3 pm. He has decided to load the afternoon with lots of our fashion and dance designs, so do head over and check out the artwork and demos!

One of the great strengths of Clarity is that we are not just designers — we are makers too! And that means we can take a design and adapt it to suit different crafts and different artists.

Take our Hippy Chicks, Calligraphy Girls and latest Strictly Dancing designs, for example. The original artwork may be the same, but the line art can be cleverly reworked to suit the medium. What works beautifully as a stamped image may need a slightly different approach for parchment craft, and vice versa. We understand those differences because we work with both. We know what stampers need, and we know what parchers need. So rather than simply reproducing the same image in another format, we can adjust, refine and rework the artwork to get the very best out of each design. Same creative starting point, different techniques, different possibilities. And the best bit? We do it all ourselves, right here at Clarity. From the drawing board to the finished product. That’s something I’m very proud of.
