We’re getting into the swing of this countdown now! Mind you, Grace and I are getting a real San Francisco vibe going too! Yesterday was a day to remember for a very long time . Let me tell you all about it….

What a fabulous Sunday we had here in San Francisco! Grace and I started the morning at Glide Memorial Church, a place I used to love visiting when I lived here back in the 90s. The music, the atmosphere, the joy of it all! Just wonderful.

Then, on the spur of the moment, we dashed into a theatre five minutes before curtain up and managed to bag two tickets for a superb matinee performance of North by Northwest. Usually over $200 a ticket, we paid just $15 each! How’s that for a result?!
Afterwards, we hopped in an Uber over to North Beach, where the Italian Heritage Festival was in full swing, and enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad with salmon while soaking up the atmosphere.

We rounded it off with an evening at the Punch Line Comedy Club, conveniently just around the corner from our apartment. Absolutely spectacular.
Sometimes the very best days are the ones you don’t plan at all. Just go with the flow, say YES to opportunities, and see where life takes you. Happy days!

I thought about Sarah a lot today, while we were floating from magic place to magic place. She was telling me to JUST DO IT!!

I am doing my best to keep on track with our 100 day countdown, but I always finding blogging on my phone tricky. Forgive the typos !

I listened very carefully to the minister‘s sermon at the Glide Church today. It really resonated with me. Grace also clocked the relevance.
