WMBM…

WMBM…

Hi there. Thanks for popping in. Up with the skylark this morning. Thought I’d come in here and wish you a lovely weekend. I hope that you are enjoying the run up to Christmas, and not stressing? Taking it one day at a time here. The gifts are mostly wrapped, although I did run out of gift-tags and really ought to remedy that asap, before the Chanel Mademoiselle goes to Harry and the Splash it on goes to Sally! I…

NEW ADDRESS FOR SANTA…

NEW ADDRESS FOR SANTA…

Ho Ho Ho! Thanks for popping in. Let me tell you a story… Once upon a time there was a crafter called Barb, who ran a small stamp company called Claritystamp. For a long time she worked out of her home, which was very small, and things were quite tight! She hadn’t seen the dining room table for years – it was covered in ink pads and paper and stamps. The car never saw the inside of the garage –…

Back in the Nest…

Back in the Nest…

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Went and queued up on the M25 for a few hours this morning. That seems to be the state of play on that particular motorway! But it was with good reason and I did it gladly – because I was collecting Grace and her beau Mark from Heathrow! It’s been a smashing day, drinking tea, talking, laughing, catching up. What a lovely woman she is. Wickedly dry sense of humour. I’ve left them in…

Such A Fruity Gift!

Hi there ! Thanks for popping in. Huge box arrived today at Clarity. Big sign on it read “Deliver me today and open me straightaway!” So we did . And what a glorious treat we found inside from dear Tina Cox! An edible bouquet! I ran around the building and gathered everyone together, so we all got to enjoy the moment. What a generous gift! And what a creative gift! To build a bouquet out of chocolate strawberries, pineapples &…

Pergamano Retreat – Doors are Open!

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. What a fantastic morning we have had! Remember I told you something huge is going on at Clarity? Well, it’s official! It’s going ahead! I’m so excited!! Let’s make a date on Friday, for me to tell you about it though; there’s still some paperwork to sort out. But when the ink is dry, on Friday, I will sing it from the rooftops – loud and clear ! In the meantime, the dates have…

A little Treet….

A little Treet….

Hi there Thanks for popping in. Waining waining waining. Whilst I miss our dogs, Dutchie and Duke every day, on days like today, I cannot help but remember the mud and puddles they used to traipse through the kitchen when it was pissisting outside! We have a cellar here, which is slowly filling up, too. It’s called a Wet cellar for a reason I guess! At least you know you’ve got a 6ft tall warning before it gets to the…

TrayFattyGay

Hi there Thanks for popping in! Great day, although Je suis trés fatiguée! TRAY FATTY GAY! That’s it, isn’t it. The minute you stop and relax, the body flops, like one of those little dolly things when you shoved your thumb up the base! Same thing happened to Dave! Look! Shoved my thumb up his base, and down he went – like a sack of spuds! Enough larking about, Gray! Be serious! Do that step by step of the card…

Celebrate Art

Celebrate Art

Hi there! Thanks for popping in. Fantastic evening at the Old Vic last night. Superb performance. Here’s something interesting though: it was a private party. Yep. The entire audience – and there wasn’t an empty seat in the theatre – were guests of The Royal Bank of Canada! What a gig! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by live music in the foyer, smiling greeters, complimentary drinks and nibbles, boxes of candy for everybody, warm mince pies. Astounding generosity….

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. Friday’s blog a private peek, right? Well, I think I mentioned yesterday, that I’m off up to London this afternoon, to see A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic. Looking forward to it. It’s had rave reviews. And we do like A Christmas Carol, don’t we? Or should I say, we do like a happy ending, don’t we? I wonder if Dickens knew, when he wrote A Christmas Carol, that Ebenezer Scrooge would become…

A Growing Day

A Growing Day

Hi there, Thanks for popping in. An old friend of mine always used to say, “we have good days, and growing days”. Suffice it to say today has been a growing day. In fact, I’ve grown so much my head aches; I’m all grow’d out today. When everything is peachy and plain sailing, when there are no crashing waves, it’s easy to row the boat. Yesterday it was like a millpond! I guess days like today, when the oars fall…
