Dilly Doodle tomorrow…

Dilly Doodle tomorrow…

Hi there,

Thanks for popping in. Just thought I’d pop in and let you know what’s coming up tomorrow, before I move on to the next job. Tina and I are meeting at HOCHANDA to have a doodle day – well 2 hours at least. Remember a little while ago, she and I got hooked on looking for art within the designer papers and parchment?

Shenandoah Parchment

Well, she and I put our heads together and decided to do a little doodle lesson/session on telly – with YOU.

So often I hear folks say, no no no. I could NEVER doodle like that. I could NEVER doodle like you doodle. Well, tomorrow Tina and I are going to attempt to break down that barrier, and show you that it really isn’t that difficult. There are a few tricks and tips which we will gladly share with you – of course.

Dave sourced a super little set of seven Micron pens too, ranging from super fineline to fatter for filling.

We took my doodle art and made a nice arty insert too,
which is pretty – and helpful for ideas!

And the other key ingredient is the Designer paper and parchment. So there’s another opportunity tomorrow, to stock up on those items at a ridiculously good price. You buy the parchment pad – and we give you the corresponding paper pad absolutely FREE.

I’m really looking forward to a couple of arty hours with Tina. Wait till you see her prepared pieces. Wow. That woman is a rare talent indeed. I hope you can join us at 11am and 2pm

  1. Looking forward to the shows, and another brilliant offer, you do spoil us. I can feel another spend coming on. xx

  2. Yay, I’ll be watching 😀 I’m off tomorrow so will try to doodle along with you.
I think I have broken down the ‘I can’t do that’ barrier, good luck with the show x

  3. Hubby is sighing with relief that no purchase will have to be made tomorrow but he has indicated he will be joining me in doodling along with you and Tina if I give him some paper/toppers to play with. This will be fun !!!
To those who think they can’t do something – how do you know if you don’t try? You may be surprised at what you will achieve – so give it a go.
    Hugs to all 🍒🍒🍒

  4. What an excellent idea to add a backing to the pen packaging that can be used as a serving suggestion. And an excellent new string to my bow…..here’s hoping. I’ve spent this months budget, but only 5 days until the new one kicks in👍🏼🥳

Thanks for delightful club die & newsy newsletter. Always a joy to receive, especially at the end of the month* (*see above🤗)

  5. I shall watch with interest. I did sit last night doodling, first of extending that twisted tree from last month’s NDC and then just some flowers and bugs. It is so relaxing. x

  6. I had a go when you did a piece a few weeks ago. In fact I chose the same piece of parchment although I hadn’t planned it that way. It is so addictive, I keep adding bits so it will be interesting to watch you both for some tips although it will be on catch up as we are away for a few days. Sounds as though our happy post has also landed so I know what I will be doing next week after the family have been for the weekend x

  7. I have to admit I am one of those people that say
I Can’t doodle like you can As do I say the same of my gell printing. That said I will tune in and watch just how to do it.
How did your POT. Turn out ?
My club goodies arrived this morning. So now I think it is play time. Have a good day. Hugs x

  8. So beatyful. I would love be able to put my “brain” in doddle mode, but the bookkeeper part sets in and tells me it have to be perfect. So I am looking forward to see how to. Thanks for the great blog.xx

  9. Well I’ve not yet tried ‘designer doodling’ but you may convince me to have a go! Will be recording/watching so never say never lol!
Groovi club plate arrived today, definitely goes straight in as one of my top ten!
Safe journeys both of you. xx

  10. Ooooooo will be recording and watching later. Love the artwork you and Tina have produced and shown us on the blog. I would say I’m a novice doodler as I have done some before but not for ages. Good set of pens too. Can I also say thank you as my club envelope arrived today along with my parcel containing my craft card blanks. Great service as always. Xx

  11. Hi Barb,
I think I’m one of those ‘ I can’t do that!’ People. I do love the doodle picture that you did and am so looking forward to the shows. With you and Tina. I will definitely be watching with interest and recording too. Thank you – my happy post arrived today and I love them all! Sending love and hugs to all, Alison xxxx

  12. If I don’t get to watch you live I will certainly be catching up later as this is something that I would love to do Barbara. Looking forward to it. x

  13. Recorder set for tomorrow, very much looking forward to watching.
My club post arrived today, very useful Groovi plate, thank you. The last line of your newsletter amused me as down here in Cornwall the daffodils are almost over, in fact the tulips and forget-me-nots are in full bloom, all earlier than usual. Another gorgeous day today, I had a walk across the beach looking for sea glass. I’m glad things are going well for Hochanda, it’s great to see so many new companies on TV, all with such different things on offer xx

  14. Really looking forward to those shows the doodling looks brilliant, so recorded as back up will be there watching and learning xx

  15. Hi Barb, really looking forward to this show, a different concept. And such great deals to go along with it. Brilliant. Take care all. Bx

  16. Hi Barbara
I loved this when you did it before and I’m really glad you are showing us what you did. I will recordthe shows as work keeps getting in the way, but I think our daughter will be interested in seeing it when she gets back from uni as she loves zentangle.
    Love Diane xxx
