Yorkshire? Or Tuscany?

Yorkshire? Or Tuscany?

Had a thoroughly enjoyable day here in North Yorkshire. A drive to Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle certainly opened my bleary eyes! What views! And what a fantastic art collection! So here’s a panoramic sunset you might enjoy, using just 3 Clarity poplar trees from Remountable Tuscany Set  A few Adirondack ink pads: Black, Bottle, Butterscotch, Terra Cotta, Caramel, Black Archival ink pad Make-up sponges and a Speedball brayer A5 White Theuva Card and low-tack masking tape and a post-it…

Blogging from a Van…

Well, now I’m really trying my luck! Blogging at 70mph on the A1M up to Yorkshire! Having just folded the Stand at Doncaster, after an excellent day, we are wending our weary way up to Yorkshire for a mini break with friends before the 4-Day SECC in Glasgow. I’m not driving, by the way…predictive spelling is bad at the best of times! So what did I get up to in Doncaster? The Gelli Plate is my best friend right now….

Gaining in Confidence with the Gelli Plate….

Gaining in Confidence with the Gelli Plate….

Madeleine Oh Madeleine!

Madeleine Oh Madeleine!

Madeleine, one of the loveliest, most popular Claritystamps in the box. Here’s a piece of artwork I did a while back, using Zentangle in her hair. Stamped her in black Archival, coloured her in with colouring pencils, added the Zen with a black micron Pen. William Blake’s ‘To see the World’ is quite lovely, too. But here’s the good news of the day: Ani at Clarity decided she would make a cool stencil. And I agree! I love, love, love…

My very first Blog project!

Well, here goes! So often, I get asked to show the technique using Perfect Pearls on double-sided adhesive. So, I thought it would be a good one to start this new bloggy adventure with. I’m a Blogging Virgin….

Well, here goes. Working my way around this new Blog is much like wandering round Sainsbury’s blindfolded. I think I have been down a different aisle, but keep ending up at the same place, the Cheese counter.  Ever the optimist, I will carry on writing, even though the probability of this ever actually getting saved and posted is about as likely as me getting back into those size 12 skinny jeans I used to wear way back when. It’s like…
