83 Days To Christmas – Retro Papers

Morning!

Greetings from a plan over the Altantic! It’s amazing really, isn’t it? Dave and I are in the clouds, and I am blogging about our super duper new papers! Well, after yesterday’s introduction to our lovely new Retro Family, it seems only right that today we take a closer look at what’s going on in the background!

Because when Jazz got to work on the papers to accompany our new family, she absolutely nailed the brief.

Retro. Bold. Graphic. And very, very cool.

The patterns have that fabulous mid-century feel about them — simple shapes, strong repeats and those unmistakable retro curves and florals. And the colourways! From the warm oranges, pinks and mustards, through to the softer blues and greens, they work beautifully with the family stamps — but they certainly don’t need them.

In fact, that’s what I particularly like about these papers. They may have been designed to sit alongside the Retro Family, but they are a cracking little collection in their own right.

Take a look…

They’re available in both 8″ x 8″ and 4″ x 4″, so whether you want a full patterned background or just a little pop of retro colour, you’re covered. Also, the mini papers are brilliant for fussy cutting when you want to add a dress or trousers to our little family characters from yesterday…

And for those of us who love a monochrome moment, or like to play with transfers on the GelPress, there’s Bow-Wob Retro too — black on white and white on black. Same fabulous graphic feel, completely different look.

Just look at what can be done with the BOW-WOB Papers!

I love how completely different they can look depending on the colours and what you put with them. One minute they’re bold and funky, the next they’re soft and pretty. And some of those patterns make brilliant borders and frames with barely any effort at all.

Yesterday was all about the family.

Today, it’s all about their wallpaper! 😂

Well, sort of.

You can find the Retro collection HERE

And with 83 days to Christmas, there’s still plenty of time for making — although I have to say, these papers are definitely not just for Christmas. They’re going to earn their keep all year round.

Love and Clarity,

  1. Hello Barb, safe travels to you and Dave, I know there is also a sad element to your trip, but enjoy the time spent with family and your new grandson Michael. I have ordered the retro collection after sitting on my hands for all of 10 minutes!! Bx
