And here we are — Day 31. Every Artist Starts Somewhere. Yes, it’s the very same affirmation we started with, and that feels exactly right. Because 31 days ago, somewhere was the beginning; today, somewhere is a completely different place. We’ve played, experimented, made mistakes, discovered things, gone with the flow, tried new ideas and, most importantly, we’ve kept showing up. So perhaps this isn’t really the end at all — it’s another starting point.

Thank you so so much to everyone who has joined me on this little arty adventure. Whether you made something every single day, dipped in and out when life allowed, or simply watched and enjoyed the ride, I hope these few minutes of creativity have brought you some pleasure, confidence and precious time to yourself. I have absolutely loved seeing what you’ve made, reading your comments and watching this wonderful creative community encourage one another along the way.

And judging by the response, I have a sneaking suspicion this may not be the last time we do something like this. I’ve already got ideas bubbling away for where we could go next — perhaps a little deeper, learning more, exploring more and creating together again. It may have to be a paid-for arty adventure next time — turns out editors like to eat too! 😂 — but if you’re up for another creative journey with me, then watch this space.

For now though, thank you for these 31 days. We started somewhere. Look how far we’ve come. And who knows where we might start next? ❤️
