Day 29 – August Arty Challenge – My Hands Can Make Great Things
My hands can make great things. And today we’re getting right back to the heart of what this Arty Challenge is all about: getting with our hands and seeing what happens! I’ve used the lovely Elementree leaf stamps for today’s artwork, building up those simple leafy shapes and letting the colours do their thing. And actually, this one couldn’t be better timed, because those leaves would work beautifully with our brand-new Nature’s Palette Card Collection, which we launched yesterday as our new Product of the Month. The leafy prints and coordinating colour panels give you the perfect starting point, then you can add your stamps, doodling, words, Rub-Ons — whatever your hands fancy! Sometimes we look at beautiful artwork and think, “I could never make that.” But you absolutely can make something that is yours. Your hands know more than you give them credit for. Give them the tools, give them a little time, and let them get on with it. You may be surprised at just how great the things they make can be. ❤️

Oh, Barb, this is so much my type of stamping – I’ve always loved pattern building with leaves. One of my favourite Clarity stamps was your early Maple Leaf, and I loved heat embossing and fussy cutting them out to create toppers. My eyes and hands were in better condition back then! 🤣 I love the Elementree set, and I’ll really enjoy playing with this artwork!
