Day 21 – August Arty Challenge – Creativity Begins With Curiosity
I reckon curiosity is where most creative ideas start. What if I try this? What happens if I put that with that? What would it look like if I turned it upside down, added some colour, tore it up, stamped over it?
In fact, right at the centre of this year’s retreats was a BIG “What if?” session – fun, playful, experimental and completely unpredictable. I LOVED IT! And a huge thank you to everybody who took the bull by the horns and joined in so wholeheartedly.
I think it was really well received, and it certainly proved the point: you don’t have to know where you’re going before you start. Sometimes it’s much more fun when you haven’t got a clue! Curiosity gives us permission to experiment, wander off piste and see what happens. And if it doesn’t work? Well, now you know! So today, be curious. Ask yourself “What if…?” and then have a go. You never know where it might lead you. xxx

Thoroughly enjoyed our ‘what if’ session. It was exciting to see what we had produced on our return. I’m going to try this at home. Thanks to you and all at Clarity for another fabulous two days. Already looking forward to next year !
Hi Barbara, sounds as though the Retreats went down well, for which I am glad for all for you able to attend. A ”What If” session sounds fun. I am always wary of stepping into the unknown, but I think if there was a group of you all in the same boat, you would be encouraged by everyone else to jump in, as you wouldn’t want to be left behind !!
Hope you have lots of visitors to your pop up shop today, a bit of retail therapy is always needed !!
Love this, not got this stamp, so my challenge today is to find one of my other stamps to use!
