Day 19 – August Arty Challenge – I Enjoy The Process
I enjoy the process.
And today, that particular affirmation couldn’t be more fitting! Yesterday we waved goodbye to a fantastic, wonderfully creative group after two full-on arty days together, and today we welcome our second bunch of Retreat guests – another really arty crew, I know! There’s a brand new process for them to learn today too, and that really is what this is all about. Not worrying too much about the finished piece, or whether we’ve got it “right”, but getting stuck in, trying something new, experimenting and enjoying what happens along the way.
The first group had an absolute blast with this particular creative experiment, and I’m so excited to share it all over again today. Because very often, the best bit isn’t what you end up with – it’s what happens while you’re making it. xxx

So good to hear, Barb, that the first Retreat went well. You know the second one will as well. I know from previous Retreats that the fun and excitement is always in the process. Learning new tips and tricks from your good self, and pushing the boundaries of your “comfort zone”. Often I would get so carried away with the arty process that project completion often took place back at home! Everyone going on today’s Retreat, you are in for a treat! Sit back, relax, have fun and get arty – enjoy the process!
Hello Barbara,
Line Ken I am pleased the first retreat went well and I am sure the second will too.
Lovely piece of artwork today too.
Take care.
