I love this one, because so often the biggest thing standing between us and having a go is that little voice telling us we can’t.

I’m not artistic enough.

I’m no good at that.

Mine won’t look like theirs.

Sound familiar? But the minute we change the conversation in our head and think, Actually, why not me? I’ll give it a go, something shifts. You don’t have to know exactly what you’re doing, and you certainly don’t have to know how it will turn out. You just have to believe that you can. Then pick up the pen, the brush, the stamp, the scissors – whatever you’re playing with today – and start. That really is half the battle. And look at us – Day 18 already!
