Catch Up on Clarity Social TV’s Latest Crafting Demos

Hi there,

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! I hope you are having a good one! What are you up to? Tell us below – we want to know! I shall be glazing pots later, in readiness for the Clarity Open Days.

What a busy day we had on Clarity Social TV yesterday! I’m so glad you like the new Landscape Dies and Mega Stamp set as much as we do. It’s wonderful that you have invested in them! We appreciate your custom x

I mentioned during the LIVE hours that the stamp sets are a fabulous compendium. They include cool design images in all sizes. This variety aids great perspective! See here? And they play beautifully with our new Treescape stamps, too. The ones that come with the masks.

Here’s that trick up close, where you add ink to the die before you cut…

Here are the stamps again, so you can see what’s included: SHOP HERE

In case you are wondering whether these sizes are the same as the wee stamps, they are not. They are all different. If you missed the show yesterday afternoon, here’s the link to watch HERE. You can watch the whole 2+ hours on your phone or tablet. If you click through to Youtube, you can also watch it on your Smart TV, if you have one.

It was centred primarily on the new Landscape Dies. A very new kind of die, and so useful! I do recommend you watch the show, to check all the different ways to use them. If you did watch, what were your thoughts?

There is a handy photo step by step instruction booklet included with each die set, too.

At the risk of repeating myself, do you know that there’s a catch-up section on our website, where you can catch up?

The planned demos are all listed. Sometimes there just isn’t enough time to cover them all. We pretty much always end up going on longer than we planned! 😂 Here are the downloads that you can print off – even one that we didn’t get to…

See? It tells you exactly what was used. It also explains what would have been used if I had had time to do the job! I won’t say the 4th one’s pretty self-explanatory, because that assumes we’re all Clarity Stampers, who know exactly how to use those Backdrop stamps of ours, and how to use Oxide ink pads.

How about this for an idea? On Thursday this week, at 7pm, when we get together for our weekly SHAC session on Facebook LIVE /Youtube, I will do this little demo for you, using the new Stamp sets and the Backdrop Stamp etc. Think of it as a little extension to yesterday’s TV show. It is so much better to SEE how it is done. We will carry on with our W-Doodle too, but I’ll kick the hour off early with this mini make. How’s that?

Happy Bank Holiday Monday.

Love always,

Barb x x x

  1. I was intrigued by the show yesterday, a very clever concept, but while this kind of craft is not me I absolutely adored the stamps and ordered them. Together with the larger stamps they will be brilliant making more detailed perspective cards.
Thank you all for the great ideas you come up with.
    Enjoy your pottery today.

  2. It would be lovely to have a demo with the backdrop stamp, thank you. Dies and stamps ordered to have a play with. Nothing planned for today, hope to catch some of the VE Day celebrations on tv. Enjoy your day both of you x x

  3. That’s a great idea Barb. I’ll look forward to watching.
Busy week ahead for me but it’s better than being bored.
    Love and hugs. Xxx

  4. Well I’m watching in Mallorca on a well deserved break to get ready for the stint looking after mum.
Can’t wait to buy and try those landscape dies – I think this is such a brilliant concept especially loading the die with ink- Barbara you a true genius coming up with different ideas.

    Have a lovely bank holiday . 🥰🥰🥰

  5. Fabulous shows, the dies make the collage process so much quicker. The additional stamps are awesome and will definitely be an asset with all the landscapes.
I’ve walked to the Post office to post DT samples.
Made cheese scones. Will be watering the garden and planting up a few pots. I know the saying! hoping the frost stays away in Scotland.
Then maybe a landscape or two.
Enjoy what ever you do today.
    lots of love ❤️ Tina

  6. Off to pilates this morning, then a stint in my allotment, journalling and having a second attempt at my ATC for May! I’ll try to catch up with some of the shows on YouTube later in the week. Booked my flights and hotel for the summer retreat now, so I’m looking forward to that, and catching up with friends 🧡

  7. I was going to have a crafty day but hubby unwell so need to do chores for part of the day. Hopefully this afternoon I’ll sneak a couple of hours to craft. Enjoy your pottery

  8. Brilliant show yesterday, Barb, and magic new goodies! The dies and stamps are real game changers and somehow found their way into my basket on Saturday night! The “ink on die” trick is so clever and useful! It will be great to see your mini-make demo on Thursday, even for us stampers! A Barb demo will always bring something new to the room!
A few “chores” today, but mostly getting my “project box” ready for Wednesday’s 1-2-3 Workshop! I can wait! Have fun with the pottery, so looking forward to seeing it at the Open Days, and being tempted!🤣

  9. So when I looked at the dies before the show, I didn’t think they were for me. Surprise surprise, after the fabulous demos I realised that I needed them very much and put my order in straight after the show. I would have ordered the stamps if there was an option of just the trees and the buildings (people and animals aren’t for me) but I expect I’ll change my mind in the future ! Enjoy your pottery xxx

  10. Caught up with the show late last night, thoroughly enjoyed it whilst making a bunting with the coronation stamps like Deborah made last week.
Not ordered anything yet as I have so much that I haven’t used yet but I’m sure I will at some point- especially the stamps as I think I need them for the landscape course next week.
I haven’t done much crafting lately as the weather has been so good.Enjoy your pottery, I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the end of the month!

  11. I only saw the second half of the show yesterday but loved what I saw ! They will have to go on my wish list for now, still playing with my recent purchases.
I’m off to Scotney Castle today with my daughter, hopefully for a nice chilled and relaxed day.
Enjoy your pottery, looking forward to seeing it in person at the open days !

  12. Loved the shows yesterday. Have ordered dies, stamps, papers etc. This is very new for me but I’m sure I’ll love it. Been doing music practice this morning before doing some crafting. Need to do some catch up before Wednesday’s 1-2-3 course which I’m really looking forward to. Enjoy your pottery.

  13. I enjoyed watching your show; the stamps really enhance the die set scenes; I prefer the scenes using the companion papers inked, rather than different coloured papers.

  14. Good morning! Well what a fabulous show yesterday and what amazing products! I made the first landscape at the retreat last summer and loved the patchwork field effect so much. Having dies to cut down on some of the hard work is amazing so I just had to order all three plus both stamp sets. I can see endless possibilities for creative play. I just wish there were more hours in the day.
I also think it’s a great way to use up gel prints for the backgrounds. Just imagine all the the different effects you could create.
I’m off to USA on holiday on Thursday so my bank holiday will be spent getting myself organised for the trip. Talking of which, I suppose I’d better get on with it then!

  15. I am currently cruising through the Rhine Gorge. I caught part of yesterday’s show while resting after an afternoon in Koblenz. I ordered the dies and stamps the night before. Looking forward to some time to watch the rest of the show. Enjoy the bank holiday those in the U.K. xx

    1. One of my favourite places in the world! Enjoy xxxx and be sure to enjoy Kaffee und Kuchen mit Schlagsahne! Xxx

  16. The dies are a great idea. If only for the little houses. I remember how we struggked to cut them at the retreat! But I did finish them at home and even went on to make a second piece as a gift for my friend. Quiet day for me today but as I live in London we’ll be going for a walk to a local open area to watch the flypast later and remember all those who fought in the second world war and still continue to defend us.

  17. I have had a leisurely lie in followed by hanging out washing. Will be busy this afternoon finishing off samples to go in the post tomorrow. Need to make ATCs for the 16th anniversary of WOYWW (What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday) which is coming up in a couple of weeks. Enjoy the pottery.

  18. When I initially saw the dies on the website I thought, not for me, but after having seen your demos and the fabulous artwork from the design team, they are now most definitely on my wish list! I love the stamps too!
Today I’m playing with one (of many 😂) of the fabulous dies that I bought in the sale, and I’m making a wedding gift and matching card for my friend. It’s the ‘happy couple’ die and I’ll have your YouTube demo showing me how to do it close to hand!

  19. I carefully organised myself so that I could watch you yesterday afternoon, I’ve been looking forward to seeing you so much. Five minutes in and I was very excited to see the new dies and then the phone rang! My brother called ‘just for a minute’ as he’d called me in the week for 2 hours but he needed to tell me quite a lot again. I will watch your show today instead. I’m so grateful that I can watch the shows on catch up, it makes me glad that I don’t miss anything! Enjoy your pottery, your birds are so beautiful and it will be lovely to see them in real life at the open day.

  20. Bit chilly today so going to sort out the conservatory so we are able to sit out there – become a bit of a dumping ground over the winter. Then I must get ready for Wednesday as all of a sudden the 123 is only hours away !!
Enjoy your pottery session this afternoon – last weeks haul looked fantastic.
Wonder what Dave’s next lightbulb moment will be? He has had some good ideas whilst he has been recuperating xx

  21. I would love that idea, Barbara, I really would. I am going to put my order in today, to be honest, I wasn`t going to buy the Wee Folk as I already have nearly all of them, after reading your reasoning, it makes perfect sense; otherwise, everything would be out of kilt ( a bit like my brain, ha! Ha! ). I really liked the show!!!!!!, happy holiday and see you on Thursday for the Mine make xxxx

  22. I am going to play with my new Clarity Crane stamps later. I will invest in these new stamps as they will be great to add perspective to my scenic cards, I may just have to add at least one of the new dies too, lol! It would be rude not too. Enjoy your glazing x

  23. loved the show on Sunday although I missed the first half hour I have put order in for the dies and stamps looking forward to Thursday so se yhe other demo everything Clarity do always turns out Brillant

  25. Really enjoyed the show yesterday and love the new stamp sets. I’ve been making my second dress of the week in anticipation of the warm weather. Typical, the weathers turned cold again so instead of putting on a new dress I pulled out a jumper. Hope you enjoy your pottery glazing xxxx

  26. Really enjoyed the show yesterday and love the new stamp sets. I’ve been making my second dress of the week in anticipation of the warm weather. Typical, the weathers turned cold again so instead of putting on a new dress I pulled out a jumper. Thursday night sounds like a mighty fine plan to me. I’m also looking forward to my 1st 1-2-3 session on Wednesday. Hope you enjoy your pottery glazing xxxx

  27. Lovely artwork! These are beautiful!

Went with my husband today for his driving experience birthday gift from our son. He chose an ‘E’ type jag and we arrived at the track in plenty of time. It was blowing a gale and really cold so very glad of winter coats! Off he went for his 5 laps of the track and I took lots of photos whenever he came into sight!! Some of them have turned out quite well and he enjoyed the birthday gift!

We then went in search of hot drinks and buns and found a lovely farm shop on the way back home – delicious hot chocolate and sticky fruit flapjack…..!

Saturday and Sunday we visited two lovely National Trust gardens nearby – beautiful flowers and woodland walks and loads of fabulous birdsong! Thank you for the tip about the Merlin Birds app!

Now off to do some parchment craft xxxx💜

  28. I am on my way home to Wales after 9 days on a wonderful holiday in the Hebrides, to the Isles of Skye, Harris and Lewis.
Great weather and spectacular scenery. A long journey but
    so well worth it!
Lovely stamps and artwork, I do more parchment, so relaxing
    and addictive. xx ❤️

  29. Enjoyed yesterdays shows, just ordered the dies, as was trying not to spend as overspent on my crafty stash, but just couldn’t resist. Will be ordering the lovely dinky stamps later in the month, when I start my next crafty spends. Quite chilly here today, although had three lovely walks with my dog, although its more of a dawdle with her nowadays, but I am able to listen to the birds and admire nature’s treats all around us. The rest of the day was housework, household paper work,(which I keep putting off) and looking at the VE celebrations and remembering a uncle who I never met, but have been told of precious memories from family and his friends. x

  30. Hello Barb, I have not watched the show yet, as were helping kids doing up their house to put on the market. It did not stop me ordering the dies and stamps though!! I am going to catch up today (sneakily in between work calls :-). I have started keeping a list of all the show dates, where there is something specific I wanted to try, so thanks so much for letting me know when the Shac Little people show was. Who told the weather it was autumn?? It was really chilly yesterday and today seems no better. Take care everyone. Bx
