Introducing the Countryside Collage Dies Collection
Hi there
Thanks for popping in. Thought I’d write a quick blog to shine a light on tomorrow’s Clarity Social TV show on Facebook LIVE. 3-5pm. We are very excited to be launching a trio of rather special and clever new dies. I haven’t seen any thing like these anywhere else, and we think they’re a real game changer.
Countryside, Lighthouse & Viaduct Collage Dies

Hang on! I hear you say. They look familiar! Didn’t we do a couple of online workshops together, where we cut out loads of lovely collage papers and created these landscapes? Yes, we did indeed! And whilst it was a fabulous process, and we thoroughly enjoyed it, you have to admit it was quite challenging and long-winded.
So…we put our thinking caps on, and figured out that you can actually make dies which are pure cutting lines. In other words, the WHOLE landscape is ready cut for you. Advantages? Well..
- The cut lines are perfect every time!
- You can cut specific areas and they will always fit into the main frame
- You can cut other material, like card, parchment, felt! Cuts like butter
- The buildings come with windows already cut out. 😂 If you actually participated in the online class, you will understand what a boon this is!
- The size of the finished artwork is smaller. 6×6 inches, rather than 8×8 inches. Card size.
The make-process is different to the original mechanical paper cut too, so we’ve included an instruction booklet with a photo step-by-step in each pack. The pictures guide you through each step of the process – it’s so easy!
Then my Dave got involved, and things got even more interesting. Have you ever read the book Mrs Armitage on Wheels by Quentin Blake? Basically, she has a bike, but keeps adding things to it, like a horn, a basket, a motor, sails – etc etc…All she keeps saying is, “what this bike needs is….”
Well. Dave was looking at the lovely landscapes that I had prepped for tomorrow, and then out came the famous words:
“What this landscape needs is a tractor”
Next came: “And a flock of sheep”.
And a windmill. And a Church. And a wishing well. And a barn. And some trees, And some hedgerows. And some children. All different sizes. Some really tiny, for perspective.
Ok ok ok. So Jazz and I sat down and made a plan. A whole compendium of Build-a scene landscape stamps. Absolutely invaluable. Hours and hours of creative play in a couple of stamp sets.
We are calling these two stamp sets our Wee Collage A5 Stamp Set Duo. The tiny images work fantastic with our stamp pens.

For our early bird shoppers, both the dies and the stamps are already available on our website. HERE
Just so you know, the dies are limited edition. When they’re gone – they’re gone.
Want a little peep of a demo?

See you tomorrow!
Love always

Wow, Barb, these dies and stamps look absolutely amazing! Talking of amazing, I’ve seen the Design Team’s awesome samples that have been posted on Facebook – and I’ve already found them on the website! And guess what – my order has somehow flown in! 🤣
Really looking forward to seeing tomorrow’s show and see you put them through their paces! Trust Dave to come up with another idea or two, and the magic team of Barb and Jazz to put it altogether!
Hope you and Dave are having a lovely weekend! 😊
Oh Dear, I really I thought I didn’t need these dies but when I saw the DT samples on FB I was ‘blown away’ .of course then I saw the tiny collage stamps so they fell my basket too. That’s it May budget already nearly gone…..well maybe not quite. Another Genius idea and your Dave is so good at knowing what we crafters need. Cannot wait for the show now
Thank you Barbara, I loved doing the Collage courses but now I’ll be able to make the trio’s without so much fiddle. Two grand daughters buying
themselves first houses. A set of these will make perfect New home
Gifts. Order in and looking forward to watching tomorrow. x
Well, I didn’t think I’d be needing these but now I think I do, they make lovely looking patchwork ! Look forward to seeing how they work tomorrow. X
Wow, wow, wow! I’m already in love with the dies from getting to play with them early, but the stamps are just inspired! I can’t wait to get my hands on them… 😍
Will have to watch tomorrow’s show on catch up as my niece is here for the weekend and we’re off out to lunch, but I know it will be worth the wait!
Barbara and Dave, yet again you’ve excelled yourselves and knocked it out of the park. What a stunning set of dies these are. And, those stamps with the tiny weenie little folk are just adorable. Can’t wait for the shows tomorrow, that’s my Sunday sorted! thank you xXx
Oh my goodness! Here I am sitting in a ship on the Rhine and I’ve just ordered the dies and stamps. I’ll have to catch up on the shows when I get home. Have a good weekend everyone. Xx
Just ordered the 3rd die set and the stamps. Amazing. Can’t wait to play more.
How lovely!
I am wondering what amazing ideas Dave will come up with next……!
OMG here we go again, shall I shan’t , these will be so easy to create and having done both courses which were amazing, all those tiny windows were a bit fiddly! Looking forward to the shows tomorrow
Looking forward to watching the show to see these new dies in action – no doubt they will make their way here along with a few other things that are already in my basket😂
When the collage courses were launched I decided I couldn’t start yet another craft. Looked at the dies, was tempted but resisted. Then I clocked the tiny wee stamps, wow, just what I needed for other cards so I splurged.
Dave is a genius. Between you two and the team it ensures Clarity will never get boring.
Will be watching the show this afternoon.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
These look amazing but I’ll have to watch on catch up.
Dear Barb, well haven’t you, Dave, Jazz and the team just gone and done it again. The dies and the stamp sets are really amazing. I’m having to also do a should I, shouldn’t I session here. Can’t wait for the shows, and I have a number of birthday cards to produce, so the inspiration will be very appreciated. Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with from the DT. Bit cooler today, need a jumper outdoors. Take care everyone. Bx
I could’nt resist these lovely dies and stamps. Thank you Barbara, Dave and the Clarity team. I have placed my order, will catch up with the demo’s when I get back from my holiday. XX
These all look amazing! just got home from a weekend away so
I’ll be able to watch the show. On the downside, I’m off to USA on holiday next Thursday so I’m not sure if I can afford to splash out on these terrific looking dies and stamps but I’ll do my best!
Looking forward to the shows, though my internet is a bit iffy today, but still, off to your web site, to have a look. I was trying to be good, and sit on my hands, but the temptation may be too great!! xx
Barbara
What are you doing to me? I will have to open my basket again, I have done all three of the collages and I sent you a photovia Paul, of the Lane End Craft club run by Berni Hayes when we completed the Lighthouse collage.
Looking forward to the show today.
Love Janet Cummings xx
