Anyone for a duet?

Anyone for a duet?

Hi everyone, Paul here.

Don’t panic, I’m not going to start singing!

Whilst Barb is away, I thought I would pop in and give you the heads up on the next TV show on Create & Craft – today at 6pm & 9pm and tomorrow at 10am & 2pm.

For those of you who are on the Groovi Bus and looking for a diversion, then maybe the Deluxe Groovi Grid Starter Kit is the next stop on your journey.

Designed by the lovely Josie Davidson aka Queen of Grids, this Starter Kit includes everything to get started and more. As part of the Special Offer, it also includes a pack of 10 sheets of our Soft Tones Ivory Parchment.

How would you like to create something like this? With ease!

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would have the time, patience or skill to be able to create something so elegant. This is where Josie, Barbara and Jim come into play. They worked together to create, what we call a “Duet” plate.

The plate has a combination of traditional Groovi engraved line art/design together with precision drilled holes to allow you to easily create beautiful, delicate lacework. Each plate comes with written instructions and guides for cutting (if you choose to!)

I will also be shining a light on some of Josie’s other designs:

Kings

Queens

and for something different, Circular

Here is some inspiration from the design team

What an amazing gallery of artwork from the design team.

If you want to see it in action ahead of this evenings TV shows, then check out Episode 39 of Groovi Tuesday with my special guest HERE

We have plenty of tutorials on our YouTube page, just search Grids.

So I hope you can join me and keep me company.

See you soon

Paul xx

  1. Morning Paul, wow the artwork from the Design Team is incredible. Even though I am not a Groover, I cannot help admiring such beautiful creations from such talented crafters. Bx

  2. Paul – it will be amazing!
On an entirely different note, you are Mr Organized himself. I am struggling to put all my Clarity items into categories and I wondered how you list them – for example I have a lot of pictures to go with my stamps, stencils and dies. Putting them into some sort of order on the computer is a big task. Can you offer any suggestions please?
    Love

  3. Good morning, Paul. I love Josie’s grid plates and am looking forward to new ones being released. Do you have any idea when we can expect them, please?
I have them all, so far, lol. xxx

  4. Stunning work, sure to tempt Groovers to buy. I can confirm that this big plate is magic to use and the Kings and Queens are very versatile so I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for stepping in while Barb is away, I’ve missed the blog the last few days.
Today’s shows all on record as I don’t want to miss anything.
    Stay safe.

  5. Hi Paul, the design team have yet again excelled themselves, stunning work. These grids really do take your work to another level when it comes to framing your work and once you work out what size you need they make the perforation and embossing so easy.

  6. Love all the design team samples & enjoying the shows. New Year plan to make much more of these plates as there are so many options.
Watching the 9pm show at the moment – Leonie is very excited !!
