Friday Night Craft Along
Hi there
Thanks for popping in. Just to let you know, when you see Paul this evening running the craftalong instead of me, there’s nothing wrong at all, except that I am pretty wiped out after two busy days of TV, and Paul kindly offered to take the wheel this evening. I know to listen to my aching body nowadays, so I said “Thank you kindly Sir” without a moment’s hesitation, and handed over the keys!

Linda Williams has spent months developing this new Groovi Collection. Each month for the next 6 months, we will release a new set of 3 x A4sq Groovi Plates and 1 x A5sq Groovi Plate. All the sets are themed; June was Christmas, July is………………. you will have to tune in on 27th July to find out!

Afraid I can’t join in this evening as we’re in a very wet and windy Cornwall to see our friend – took us 5 hours to get here, usually 3.5 – 4 on a normal sort of Friday. I might watch a bit but otherwise will look forward to catching up. How lovely to have a Paul as well as a Dave Barbara ! You’re wise to listen to your body, put your feet up. X
Thanks for letting us know you’re ok. I know a lot of us would worry when we saw Paul instead of you. Rest up and recharge those batteries.
Looking forward to tonight, I’ve sent my husband out to have a Chinese takeaway with my daughter!!
I wondered how you would manage a Craftalong after your TV sessions. Thank goodness you are being mindful of your body. We’ll be there to support Paul won’t we girls. Take care Barbara and have a good, restful weekend ❤️❤️
I guessed you might be cream crackered doing 2 days tv without Paul. You are wise to listen to your body and fortunate to have a kind hearted Paul to stand in for you tonight. I will have to watch on catch up later.
I spent most of the afternoon going through the members sale, jumping up and down to check my stash, and placed an order big enough to make hubby’s eyes water – ha ha!!!!! and I only got to page 68.

Joined Paul half a hour late, so just watched and so enjoyed it, although my internet signal was a bit slow at times, it didn’t spoil it for me. Keep having a peek at the members sale, and have started a list, although whether I can keep to my self imposed spending limit, is another thing!! Please you are resting after your tv stint. Sorry you weren’t able to do tonight’s craftalong. Paul did a great job as always. Brilliant evening. Loved all the design team artwork. Loved the design he showed us, including the ‘cheats’ which I use. I also sometimes use the ‘zipper’ method of picot cutting straight edges which is to snip first couple of holes and then with ruler run single needle tool straight down the centre of the rest and it cuts through to make the edge.not always quite as distinctive as proper dragons teeth but works well most of the time

I was told by the nurse to rest as I have an infection but I didn’t listen so I am now laid up in bed for 4 days with strict instructions not to move should have listened 🤣🤣 so glad you are listening.
Will catch up with Paul tomorrow. Enjoy the rest.

Enjoyed the craft along tonight although I will confess I was so relaxed I suddenly realised that Paul’s piece of parchment had gone blue. Thankfully I was able to go to YouTube & catch up whilst still listening to Paul on FB. Have sat & finished the piece, just need to go upstairs & choose a backing paper before mounting on a card blank. Maybe I will do that in the morning after I have checked out the Saturday Share with Grace. Isn’t technology great that Grace could join in tonight as well & help Paul x

Just a quick note as your daughter helped me too find your blog, yes I was worried that you werent on the craft along. Thank god for Paul and him letting us know you were ok and having time out. Always good to listened to your body. Paul done an absolute amazing show and for the first time I think I may of been enlightened and im starting too see a difference in my work. Thanks guys lots of love and best wishes to all x 🙂
