I with you, and you with me.

I with you, and you with me.

Hi there

Thanks for popping in.

Good day today. Very good day. Spent it with my dear friend Carron. She’s a real diamond. She lost her beautiful Mum during lockdown. Terrible circumstances really, by comparison. But she was able to take her experience, compassion and love, and help me get to grips with today today. You know, we chatted, we laughed, we cried, we laughed a bit more, we sighed and then we hugged each other. It was the best day with the best person. And she gave me a fab hair cut. And we had a fry up together. And pots of tea. It was just what the doctor ordered. And then, when I left, she had to whistle over to her Dad’s, because he’s in the same boat as my dad was a week ago. Imagine that.

You don’t need lots of friends; you just need a couple of good ones, eh.

Friday 13th, quote # 13:

I with you, and you with me,
Miles are short with company.

George Eliot

Ain’t that the truth? A day in good company, in precious company, and the world seems almost normal again. #KeeptheFaith #Thistooshallpass #Onedayatatime. And friends like Carron are there always. Through the happy AND the sad times…

Love always.

  7. So pleased for your good day with your best buddy. The best friends are those who laugh with you, and cry with you, and who truly know you – and love you through it all.

  8. Absolutely right. A couple of good friends around you, just knowing they are there even, makes all the difference. Funnily enough, it is my hairdresser who has turned up trumps for us.

She comes every week to sort out my hair for me, but boy has she and her lovely husband been going the extra mile for us. They have fetched prescriptions, groceries and offered to do any jobs I can’t manage.

It is step by step, day by day, but friends really help us to face those days.

    Hugs xxxxx
