A Stencil a day….

A Stencil a day….

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Spent the afternoon with Tina Cox today. It was so good to catch up with her. Haven’t seen each other for years! Isn’t that crazy?

Well, she’s back in the Arty Saddle for sure! We firmed up arrangements for her two TV upcoming TV shows on Saturday 21st. (2pm on CreateandCraft Extra, and 5pm on CreateandCraft main channel). She has designed a little set of brand new Groovi Parchlets for us. They are delightful! And when you see the artwork Tina has made with them, well you have to know you’re in for a real treat.

She gave me a lovely gift, a canvas. I want to show it to you. It’s so lovely!

“I LOVE stencils!”said Tina.

“So do I!” said Barbara.

“See a gap, have to fill it!” said Tina.

Here’s the art she made for me…

…and here’s the stencil….Wild privet, by Mel Turner. CLICK HERE

Amazing what you can do with a stencil, a fine black Micron pen and a white sakura gel pen, innit. When you’re Tina Cox.

Thank you Tina. Makes me want to get a stencil out and fill it. I bet the new Block stencil would work well – any one of them.

Feeling inspired by Tina‘s doodle too? Let’s set ourselves a challenge. Pick a Clarity Stencil, fill it, tangle it, doodle it. Then post your work in Facebook group Clarity Worldwide. Let’s create a Doodle-Stencil Gallery together !! It’ll be interesting to see which stencil YOU pick!!

Love and Hugs

I do love doodling on stencils too. Always give great shapes to fill in with patterns. X

  4. What a great piece of art – looks so much more than a stencil & doodling. Must check out my stencil stash & see what I can come up with. I try to have a go at all the challenges you set us whether it is on here or claritymattersblog.com.
Looking forward to seeing what Tina has in store for us on Saturday although I have just had a quick peek at the gallery over on the website & the samples there look fantastic.

  5. I love playing with the stencils that have various sized and shaped areas, and using them with tiny elements of parchment designs in them, parts of flowers, bees, butterflies etc, adding doodles when I cannot find anything else to fit. All good fun. Glad to see our lovely Tina back with us. xxx Maggie Craner (Silvercrafter)

  6. Hi Barb, so lovely to hear that Tina is doing shows again, she is one very talented Lady. Love the artwork she has made for you, very inspiring to get creative. Unfortunately not much time for that this week as am travelling for work. Quite daunting when you have not done it for 3 years! Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  7. Looking forward to seeing Tina’s shows next Saturday, missed her “oopsydaisy”. I have never tried a doodle through a stencil so will give it a go.

  8. I’m so glad that Tina is back in the saddle again such a lovely lady who has been missed. Looking forward to seeing her in action again.

  9. Oh, I missed this blog! I’ve a wedding card and a birthday card to finish by tomorrow night so will give this a go next week. Looks like fun. Tina is an amazing talent and you are very fortunate to have her on board, but you know that. Hxx
