Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Prepping demos for Friday’s TV shows on The Craft Store has been enjoyable today. I’ve been alone, up in the art room, putting the alphabets through their paces and generally putting together the demo flow, the sequence. Apart from a few phone calls with colleagues, it’s been a day of quiet. Much needed too.

Some very cool, funky stamps being showcased, which are just a joy to use. Designed by Cherry Green and Clarity. It is not a coincidence that we are launching a superb doodle alphabet the week of National Handwriting SUnday! These are brilliant!

I got a little carried away with one of the small stamps that looks like a wrapped sweet. See it? Just loaded a little stampboard triangle, coloured it in, added a brooch pin, a sticker – and signed it with a tiny custom stamp. Done.

What a neat little pin for a friend. Less fattening than real candy too!

The show are on Friday 9am and 1pm. I hope you can join me.

See you in the SHAC tomorrow at 10am, for a little doodling and lettering session…

Love and Hugs

  1. Oh Barbara that little pin is lovely. You have such amazing ideas, I wish I had your arty flair. I bought one of the doodleology stamps and haven’t used it yet. I need to go to my recording of when I bought it for some inspiration. I shall be watching the shows on Friday, I’m sure they’ll go fabulously. Travel gently Barbara and take time to rest xx

  2. I love the little brooch. I have a brooch one each of my coats/jackets -changed according to the season! Looking forward to the shows.

  3. You’ve cracked it again. Will have to record the shows as I have a manic morning in store but I will order the alphabet.
    Stay safe.

  4. Will have to try to catch up on shows, hospital appointment on Friday. Stamps look great will be interesting to see all the design team cards . Good luck with the shows x

  5. The new stamps will be a great addition to the Doodleology range. Love the brooch with the non fattening sweet doodle.
See you in the SHAC tomorrow for another doodle session

  6. Hello Barb, I am in love with these new stamps sets, unfortunately will have to put them on my wish list, as car problems have put paid to any craft spend for a little while, I will however record the shows for inspiration and to enjoy watching your demos and seeing wonderful samples. Love the brooch idea. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
