Further along The Mojo Trail.

Ideas and Inspiration

Hi there.

Thanks for popping in. Day 4 on the Mojo Trail! At Clarity we offer up arty, crafty ideas and inspiration almost every day. 2 Clarity Blogs, Design Team Member Project Blogs (Sarah, Sam, Jane, Glynis, Hazel and others),TV demos, Youtubes, Art galleries on our website – the list goes on.

I am going to make a concerted effort this new year to serve up very achievable arty projects here on the blog again. It’s good for me too – especially now I have figured out the photos !!! We’ve also got a short videos plan in the pipeline…so many ideas and so little time!

Many of you also post your artwork on our Facebook group pages, Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide. And that’s how it works: SHARING. When you share an idea, it may just trigger somebody else’s imagination. It may just be that which sparks another idea, or motivates somebody to MAKE something. How often I see one of our customers post a particularly lovely piece of artwork on facebook, and then somebody else will ask which Groovi plate was used, or which Designer Paper was used. Not long after, you’ll see more artwork coming through, using the same or similar idea. I love that. I love that one person’s creativity has motivated the next person to get arty.

This sharing of ideas is certainly a key to unlocking somebody’s lost mojo.

The Clarity Craft Clubs are another great monthly project opportunity, a techniques library, a course of learning.

I am sure there are other craft companies that support their community with art and ideas. This underpins everything we do and design at Clarity, and I think it is the key to triggering that lost mojo we have been talking about this week.

My theory is that if we serve enough different arty snacks, one of them will eventually get your creative juices flowing!

Look in your box when you receive Clarity orders now too. We are going to start including little Ideas & Inspiration postcards. Little bite-sizes pictures of artwork…

Time to call it a day.

Don’t forget! It’s the SHAC tomorrow at 10am. We will be doodling some cool tiles. Very simple. Very nice. Very VERY achievable. Facebook LIVE or Youtube LIVE. YOU decide.

Love always

  1. Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement over the years and everything you do!

One of the reasons I share photos of my artwork is to try to encourage or inspire someone else…..!

  2. Thank you so much Barbara for these Mojo Trail blogs – so inspiring and so helpful! Looking forward to getting back on the trail soon and joining everyone in the SHAC tomorrow!

  3. Sounds like a plan thank you Barbara 🙏
Think we all need a bit of help sometimes .
I wonder if anyone else has the same problem as I have 🤔
I have a huge amount of craft items not much space for storage so I have everything in big plastic boxes .
I have that much stuff its very overwhelming and I struggle to come up with any inspiration 😥
Fingers crossed I will find some soon with a lot of help from Barbara 😊 x

  4. Fabulous snippets of art. I have these Wee stamps, in fact most of them and I didn’t think of using them on a stand alone card. What inspiration. I love seeing other people’s art, as you say it’s great to share our ideas. Thank you Barbara for giving us so much of your precious time xx

  5. Hi Barbara
Happy New Year to you, your family and everyone at Clarity Towers.
Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed the mojo busters, particularly 2nd January. I don’t do Facebook so can’t post my results but I was really chuffed with what I produced! Thanks for the inspiration xx

  6. Am loving these mojo in unblocker blogs, I’m also grateful to see others artwork for inspiration. Looking forward to the Shac tomorrow morning.

  7. I am enjoying this week of inspiration and have looked out my masks to try the one from yesterday. I am planning an order and have one on the way so hoping for even more ideas. Many thanks for kicking my mojo where it needed it!!

  8. Sounds good! For the first time in ages I’ll be able to make Thursday (tomorrow – where’s that week gone?!) Looking forward to it. X

  9. That’s what I love about Clarity – the sharing & caring from everyone. If we have a query or something hasn’t gone quite right with a project there is always someone who can offer some help or at least know where to find the answer. There are new people joining our FB pages all the time so its nice to be able to pass on the hints & tips that we have learnt over the years.
What a lovely idea to add the postcards to our orders showing us new ways to use our stash.
See you tomorrow at 10 for the SHAC Shack & then we can watch Paul on the Craft Store at 11 & 3 for yet more inspiration from our dies.

  10. Really enjoying your blog this week, Barbara. It’s great to get lots of ideas of what might be possible. Having gutted the living room and sun lounge, I now can’t get into my craft room! It’s like rearranging the chairs on the Titanic in this house. However, it’s great to see space and order once more at least in a couple of rooms! Hope I can make it to the Tracing Paper tomorrow, just in case! Lots of love. Hxx

  11. All I can say and repeat…. thank goodness for Claritystamp and all you do and your team, we would be lost without you x

  14. Your ideas and inspiration are always so brilliant Barbara and really hit the spot! I loev seeing what everyone shares on Clarity Worldwide, and I’ve been encouraged by others over time so that I’m much more confident about posting what I make. Yours was the first crafting class I ever did (back in the day at Little Baddow!), Clarity stamps are always my ‘go to’ place, and more recently you inspired me to put my toe in the water and start my own blog! so thank you, thank you, thank you!!
