Offer of the Week – We Wish Shoe Well!
Thanks for popping in. Monday Monday. Ticking loads on my list today! And this ’ere blog is the last worky thing before I move onto the ironing!
In the lead up to Friday’s TV Show on The Craft Store, where I shall be showcasing a collection of fabulous, brand new Funky Creatures by Cherry Green,
I thought it would be cool to start the week with a super Christmas Collection of lovely shoe designs, which Cherry illustrated too. So how about a half-price Offer of the Week, to kickstart the Cherry Green celebrations?
These stamps are delightful. Complete with masks of course.
And we have even made them into Groovi plates too. Very popular, these were, when we launched them!
If you would like to see how they work, here is a photo step-by-step (if you pardon the pun!) using the Ivy Boot and some fusible fibres HERE
Fibres available HERE
and here is another one of mine, stamped on parchment. Indian Summer, methinks…
And here are a selection of fab art samples from the Clarity Design Team
There is so much scope with these shoes. They would work really nicely with those new wee elegant lady silhouettes too. You could perch the girls on the huge shoes. And half price? Barrginnnn!
Also, I wanted to announce the two winners of the “Guess the paper” blog candy competition from last week…
The question was, which papers did I use in the backgrounds of these two cards?
Answere: Amazonia Card for both! Yep, I had to look hard too! But we do have two lucky winners, who will each receive one of the cards, together with a cheeky little £20 Gift Voucher…
Well done ladies! Thanks to everybody who joined in. I guess the Amazonia Collection of paper, card and parchment is my favourite, although I do love Waimea Falls too.
Time to go listen to a book and iron some shirts. Tick, tick, tick….
Love and Hugs

Love the shoes they are so useful for all occasions xx and with the new collection even more possibilities thank you xx
Congratulations to Janine & Yvonne, enjoy spending your vouchers. My guess was right but unfortunately our internet crashed as I was posting & forgot to go back & check when it came back on. I like a list when I have got several things to do. Seeing the ticks against the finished items spurs you on to get the rest done. I did my ironing this morning & now must go & make a few cards that are needed over the weekend. Realised it is a bank holiday so no post on Monday.
I rarely win anything so was very excited and pleased to win the competition and will certainly enjoy spending my voucher. I have always liked Amazonia but it is certainly my favourite now !
Love and hugs
Hi Barbara all the artwork is gorgeous. I love it all. Congratulations to the winners. I hope the ironing goes well. Take care. Hugs xxxx
Congratulations to the winners, well done.
Lovely artwork, so inspiring. Inexpensive week for me as I know I already have the Groovi plates so must have the stamps somewhere.
Apologies to you and Cherry Green but I will not be watching the mixed media show on Friday as I have a strong aversion to some of the bugs shown. It is a phobia I have never been able to totally conquer.
Sat last night and made a list of all the “must do’s” before the bank holiday weekend. Started my ironing at 7am, finished by 9.30. Kept to the schedule the rest of the day and hope the rest of the week goes as well. It is satisfying to see all the ticks on the list.
Take care, stay safe.
Thank you Barbara, that was a lovely surprise, I shall enjoy spending the voucher, and congratulations to Yvonne too. I also did some ironing today, must be something in the wind!
Lovely artwork from you and the designer team.
Cherry has done it again with her new designs although I’m not a bug lover myself, but I can appreciate the work. I’m also not a fan of shoes on cards so I think it’s going to be an inexpensive week for me for once – the bank manager will be pleased. Congratulations to the two winners – I was sure one was from Indian Summer!! As we have no tv , I’m sat watching the Staged Concert of Les Miserables on Prime. It is my favourite musical ( even though it’s depressing) and some of the songs are just beautiful! Must go now, Alfie Boe is just about to sing Bring Him Home! Love and hugs Alison xxxx
Hello Barb, what lovely samples of the great shoe designs, both stamped and Groovi. They are so different and make really unusual cards. Cherry really is a great designer, always different and extraordinary. Well done to the winners, enjoy spending your vouchers. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
