Comfy Shoes xxx

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Just coming down after our Reflection Session in the Moment of Clarity live Craftalongabarbie.
I really enjoyed that! My kinda thing! Those reflection masks hit the spot for me 100%. Like putting on a comfy pair of shoes…
I did take a few photos, just in case anybody wants to check out the sequence, but to be frank, I am wiped out. Been a busy day! Between the SHAC SHAC and the 3pm hour, I’m just about done in. You don’t realise how much energy you use up doing those sessions until afterwards. Haven’t got a full blown step by step tutorial left in me today. You can always watch the live demo on our Claritystamp YouTube Channel if you fancy having a go.

So many possibilities, so many versions, so many variations…

If you fancy joining me on Wednesday evening at 7pm on Facebook Live, we will be having another play, building landscapes, combining the masks, doing more reflections and getting arty.

To make it easy, you can find everything in one place over on the Clarity website by clicking HERE

Am blogging on my phone, so forgive the shabby layout. Dodgy internet x

with love,

Barb xx

  1. Hello Barbara. You really are a hero, keeping on going. I am really struggling to do anything new ATM, and like you i have returned to comfy old shoes…just simple flower shapes doodling and colouring. I don’t seem to be able to watch you live, i just end in tears, but always watch you later. Thank you. Janette xx

  2. Loved watching you play with the masks! They all look lovely! I’m a bit cream crackered too tonight, so just looking! Have a relaxing weekend.

  3. Had a lovely time playing along. Going to have another go to practice before Wednesday. The masks are great but forgot how sticky they are brand new x thank you for sharing

  4. I’m not surprised you were exhausted! You had to set up with Paul and then dismantle everything again as well! Having spent an hour in the garden beforehand, doing the trees with the brushes was like a workout!! Lol. Great afternoon, though. Thanks for doing this with us live. It really helps. I was going to do some more work tonight but changed my mind! I have time to finish all I need to do so not tonight. Enjoy a relaxing evening. Hxx

  5. Hi Barbara you have had a busy day. No wonder you are wiped out. I love what you have created. I enjoyed both sessions today. Have a good evening. Take care. Hugs xxx

  6. You gave your all today and for that we thank you. If you could have seen me this afternoon you would have had a hoot. I shall have another go over the weekend now I have some idea of where we’re heading. I loved doing the children masks so I’m sure I can crack this one at a slower pace. Take good care Barbara, try and relax this weekend. Go give those cats a cuddle xx

  7. It was good to see you ‘in the swing’. Am glad the session is recorded and stays available as I need to try and try again.
Thank you and Clarity as a whole for all the crafting help.

  8. Thank you for a great day, I really enjoyed the process once I had managed to divide the reflection mask (the downstairs version) thank goodness for video backup.
Time to switch off I would think after your busy day – an evening with the kittens & Dave.

  9. Loved the craft along and will definitely be on next Wednesday evening xx and Hank you for all that you do I have learnt so much in the past year and am loving it all xx take care and get a bit of rest xx

  10. Unfortunately I was not able to join in today but will have a go with the recordings when Ray has finished upgrading all our computer equipment. I have a lot of catching up to do.
A big thanks to JIM who sorted out a problem for me. I can now access my order history and place orders again. He is a gem.
Do try to rest a bit over the weekend.
    Take care, stay safe.

  11. Thank you Barbara for another wonderful “Moment of Clarity”, thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to Wednesday evening, you are spoiling us.
Have a restful weekend and see you on Monday in the SHAC.
    Take care everyone, keep safe.

  12. Really enjoyed watching you do the masks and trying to do it at same time – of course made a few mistakes but will keep on practicing. Thank you.

  13. Wonderful afternoon. Tried hard to keep up and quite pleased with result though not quite right or finished. Thank you so much for all the help.

  14. I haven’t been doing the butterflies, as my head couldn’t cope with something new and i don’t do masks and stamping either, so I have watched, but done my own doodling and colouring. I managed to catch the other Pergamano show from yesterday and it was brilliant. You and Janice bounce off each other so well. After such a hectic few days, I hope you manage to relax and have a good weekend. Hugs. Annette X

  15. Thank you for another fab session – have given in and ordered the set of masks! I just love how easy you make it look – you give so many of us confidence to try new techniques. Hope you’ve been able to put your feet up and chill this evening. Enjoy your weekend

  16. I hope you enjoyed the final of the the great pottery throw down this evening, Barbara – and it marks the beginning of lovely relaxing weekend for you.

  17. Thank you Barbara for the brilliant “Moment of Clarity” this afternoon, couldn’t quite keep up with you, but enjoyed it thoroughly, and look forward to trying again. Enjoy your weekend. xxx

  18. Thank you Barbara, I take the day off work to do the moment of clarity sessions, it’s my one of indulgence during the daylight hours. I follow the Shac shack on an evening. Today was enlightening and full of your tips and simple steps. I love every minute. Thank you again and again

  19. Beautiful artwork going to sit down and watch you tonight as was busy baking a 50th birthday cake for a neighbour and guess what I put rice paper BUTTERFLIES cascading down the sides. Now I wonder where that idea came from????

  20. WOW thank you Barbara. Didn’t manage to watch live but on catch up. What an amazing demo! Deffo going to try (probs make a real mess of it lol). Would you be kind enough, next time you use them, to show how to hold the spot on sponges correctly please? I always get an “edge” with the ink 🙁 Have a good rest at the weekend. Stay safe and God bless xx

  21. Hello Barb, I will have to watch on youtube, as the day job went a bit mental yesterday, so could not watch live. Looks like there is a lot to learn and a lot of inspiration. Hope you managed to rest up. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  22. Really enjoyed the craftalong but couldn’t keep up so I’m going to watch the video and do it again taking it slowly this time so I don’t get the mountains going through the trees! I obviously missed the bit where you put the mask back on the trees 🤦‍♀️ 😀. The pictures you’ve posted will be a great help, thank you so much. I’m also going to detack all my masks ready for Wednesday. Enjoy your weekend xx

  23. I managed to miss most of the Friday show -fell asleep! Bea and I will watch it through first, then get out the things we need and have a go! It is also the kind of crafting we love , so we’re looking forward to it very much. I’m not surprised you were exhausted. I find I’m always more tired after the Shac mornings and I only follow what you do! Do take care. Perhaps once you go back to work in mid-April, it’ll be time to cut back on the Shac? Otherwise you’ll be worn out. We won’t be able to do the evening session, though I presume it’ll be on the Youtube channel? Definitely want to watch it!! Take care of you and Dave and have a good, quiet Sunday.

  24. Hi Barb, what a great demo! I will definitely be there again on Wednesday! – Hopefully this time I will have the right masks ! . I had the reflection masks and not the normal ones and I didn’t realise until it wouldnt line up! I was so mad at myself for being such an air head 😂 Have a relaxing weekend X
