They roamed the earth on two legs…

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Thought you might enjoy a quick update on our little – not so little – Vikings. Highly intelligent, super agile – and mad as a box of frogs.

One minute, it’s chill time.

Then in a split second –

… this is the moment when pictures speak volumes…

Yep. Ragnar is F for… FEARLESS indeed. And when he eventually fell over backwards, he did so very gracefully – didn’t even touch the tree of coffee mugs. I was on the phone to Paul when this little stunt took place.

And this is after I have hidden his drugs! When he was on the catnip it was much worse !!! Want to hear the best bit? Ragnar’s the quiet one. It’s Erik the Red who’s the nutter!!

I’d best get back to them. Make sure the kitchen’s not been turned to rubble! Good job I love them. It’s like having a couple of unruly teenagers in the house!!

Stay safe

Love always

Barb xx

  1. Such big lads now (and beautiful too). I see all sorts of interesting adventures coming up!
    Love
    Maggie (Bendy Yorkite)

  2. Wow, you can really see how much they have grown. The club plate ‘Faithful friends are life’s treasures’ is so true. It applies to pets and people who bring us joy. Enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs. Annette X

  3. WOW Barbara such beautiful markings I don’t think I’ve ever seen such pronounced and abundant lines. They certainly look fun filled and must keep you on your toes. Do they go outside or are they home cats. Ragnar certainly looks as if he wants to explore the big wide world. Paul did another brilliant job this morning xx

  4. Oh Barbara I love having updates about your two Vikings. They certainly bring you lots of pleasure. How life had changed for us all. I bet you can’t imagine being without them now. See you tomorrow in the Shac Shake. Take care. Hugs xxx

  5. You have got to really love these Vikings to let them take over your kitchen. Glad Ragnar didn’t break the mugs.
Enjoyed the shows this weekend, picked up some tips and lots of inspiration.
Six inches of snow when we got up this morning and still snowing. It is times like these when neighbours are appreciated. We don’t ask for help but accept it when offered. Ray had to go to the clinic for his jab so started to clear the car and and the driveway. Within minutes 3 young men came out with shovels and started clearing a pathway to the road. A gentle journey there and back only to find they had cleared all the driveway and pavement in front of the house. Such kindness in these difficult times is heart warming.
    Stay warm and safe.

  6. They are such beautiful kitties. Typical gingers by the sound of it too, they all tend towards the nutty side but that’s what makes them so unique and why I love them! Enjoy xx

  7. They will calm down a bit once they are able to go outside, unless you keeping them as house cats. They look adorable though. X

  8. Thanks for showing photos of your lovely kitties.
Always cheers me up and make me smile. My tabby does not like the snow, been in for two days…very deep here in Suffolk. It seems dogs are loving the snow.

  9. Hi Barb,
Gosh, you can certainly see how much they’ve grown! Ragnar is very long isn’t he? They are adorable though and obviously still love to be together. I can see the pair of them being a right handful. Good job you love them both. I bet you’d have been cursing like mad if the mug tree had gone over! Thanks for the photos. Love and hugs, Alison xxxx

  10. Wow how they have grown from those tiny kittens you brought home what is not yet 4 months ago. I am sure they will have a whale of a time in the garden, might let off a bit of steam running round then fall asleep when they come back indoors just like children.

  11. Hello Barb, they are such beautiful cats, love their markings. I bet they are a handful, but such fun to read about what they get up to. Enjoy them. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  12. I took my collie to the park yesterday to play ball.
There was a young gentleman walking a cat on a lead.
I have never in my life see a man nor beast so unimpressed with the world as that cat.

  13. I think I would be finding a new home for the mug tree! Good to have some unpredictable home entertainment though just now x
