What’s coming up?

What’s coming up?

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Bit of a scramble here, prepping for LIVE TV on HOCHANDA tomorrow. 11am 1pm and 3pm. whilst stopping to cuddle the kittens. Quite a lot….

Then I stopped and looked at the designs in front of me, properly looked. 11am and 3pm I am showing off exquisite illustrations by clever Mel Turner: the Treescape and the Town Houses; two of our best selling, most popular designs, converted to clever 3-way overlays. So cool to use!! We’ve got the stencils and die too….

At 1pm I am showcasing wonderful, beautiful illustrations by the late Jane Nestorenko. Her penmanship was second to none. Yep. Two extraordinarily talented artists and dear friends. The pictures sell themselves, so I really REALLY can calm down and let the art speak for itself. My job is just to show you some tricks, tips and applications – and that, I can do. Also, the Design Team have created some superb samples, so let’s enjoy them!!

Maybe I’ll wing it a little tomorrow… That’ll be a first! Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. More likely I will get up early and prepare a little more before the shows. Fail to prepare – prepare to fail. Or at least have a plan! The illustrations are a delight to work with. I’ll show you tomorrow.

Love always,

Barb xx

  1. Not sure which are the most beautiful, but I think the kittens win hands down. Beautiful samples, gorgeous designs. You put yourself under too much pressure, you’ll be fine xx

  2. I have the recorder all set ready for your shows. I’m sure you could wing it with aplomb, but I understand your wish to be prepared. You must have demos from the past though in your stash – noone will mind a little reminder x

  3. Hi Barbara I am looking forward to the shows tomorrow. The art work is gorgeous. Those kittens are adorable. Thank you for sharing photos of them. I hope it all goes well tomorrow. Take care. Hugs xxx

  4. It’s going to be a good day tomorrow. Great designs. However, on a much more serious note, I think you’ll need a bigger box soon! Lol. Hxx

  5. Wow those samples are gorgeous! Wish I could afford everything! I love the little children and so glad you have reduced the size of them. I don’t like making large cards! Am not 100% at the moment,so hopefully will be able to enjoy all the shows!

  6. Jaynes designs are lovely and I have them all. The 3 way overlay trees will be a useful addition to my stash as will the dies. Really looking forward to the shows.
Those kittens are growing fast, you’ll soon need a bigger box.
Try to get a good nights sleep then all will be well tomorrow whatever you do.
    Stay safe

  7. Hi Barb,
Looking forward to the shows tomorrow especially to see the treescape and lovely Jayne’s stamps in the smaller version. I think these smaller ones will be very useful indeed. The two Vikings are definitely growing at a rate of knots, but typical kittens like to snuggle up together in a tight spot! They are gorgeous. Get a good night’s rest so your batteries are charged for tomorrow. At least you haven’t got to trek up to Peterborough! Love and hugs,Alison xxxx

  8. I love those two little ginger furryballs!!!💝
And the cards with the children are lovely! Looking forwards to your shows tomorrow– there will be changes because you get an idea while working as always. I like that a lot!!!
Take care and think of yourself otherwise we have to miss you as our busdriver in the Shac.
    Lots of love, Trijntje Huppel

  9. Simply gorgeous, both the design team’s samples and the Vikings!
Winging it or not, you’ll be great as always tomorrow.

  10. The samples are fantastic & I am sure everything will be fine tomorrow. Everything will fly off the shelves.
Those young vikings are growing up fast, not babies for long !!

  11. The kittens are just so adorable, it must be hard to break away from them. An excellent distraction in your busy daily schedule, just what you need. Stroking an animal is so very therapeutic, unconditional love. Looking forward to the shows, relax, breathe. Xx

  12. Hi Barb, lovely to see Mel’s designs in overlay stamps and to see the so very beautiful designs of Jayne coming to life. Both, extremely talented ladies, will record the shows. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
