Get Happy – Get Groovi!!

Get Happy – Get Groovi!!

Good morning!

Great to have your company again! The Clarity Virtual Open Days have been such fun so far. Now usually, it would all be over in the Hall. We would have packed everything up yesterday evening, and everybody would have been wending their merry way home last night or this morning if they had further to travel. But today, since it’s all virtual, since it’s all safe and online, we can keep it going! As soon as Grace wakes up in New York, she will fire up another series of fabulous projects by Linda, Tina and the arty team, and generally steer you in the direction of ideas and inspiration. I shall be posting multiple blogs too, with great projects and fun – not to mention giveaway prizes…

To celebrate the Open Days, we centred around the word HAPPY, and we introduced our HAPPY doodle design, to celebrate.

2 size stamps and an A5 Groovi Plate.

On Friday, I kicked off the celebration with the large stamp set

Yesterday Jilly reached for the smaller set, to provide you will a beautiful stampy project…

…and this morning our lovely Paul Church is joining in the celebrations with a HAPPY Groovi project. Lovely and simple – just perfect for ANYBODY. A complete beginner could handle this project easily. So if you’ve been sitting on the Groovi fence, and not sure where to dive in, now might be a perfect starting place – A HAPPY PLACE!

Take a piece of Toscana Parchment a die-cut the 2nd largest Picot Rectangle and then die-cut a piece of white card using the largest Picot Rectangle

Add in the double lines around the outside using the co-ordinating Groovi plate and then trace out “Happy” in the middle – the Light Panel really makes a difference!

All traced out and ready for some colour to be added

You now have options. You can remove the colour from the parchment using the eraser pencil, or you can add the colour over the top. I chose to add the colour over the top using the Perga Liner B pencils. This is the back

and this is the front. It looks rather arty/sketchy

If you use the Pergamano Blending Pen and the Dorso Oil, you can smooth out the colour. The “H” looks as if it has now be coloured with a pen and is nice and smooth

Once you have blended all the colour on the back. Use a 1 Needle Bold Tool on the Super Foam to pierce and add a Pergamano Brad

Finally mount onto a piece of matching Toscana 8×8 paper and then onto an 8×8 card blank

I called Paul this morning at 7am. He was already at work! That makes two of us. I was just talking to him about the day ahead, when Leanne turned up. Jilly will be there any minute too. What a team. We may not have been able to serve you in a hall this year, (look out 2021!), but we are certainly still hopping about !

Now let’s think about a lovely givelaway, to start the day. How would you like to win a large Lightwave bundle, complete with cover, perforating mat and Groovi grip?

All you need to do, to be in with a chance of winning this super prize, is finish this ere limerick! We do love a limerick, don’t we?!?

There once was a groover called Dwight

Who preferred to groove at night…

lalalalala

lalalalala

lalalalalalalala!

Oooh I say!!!! Keep it clean! Keep it clean! It is Sunday after all! Copy and paste the first two lines of the limerick below, and then finish it up! We’ll get our laughometer out to pick a winner! You’ve got till midnight Monday….

Let’s have some fun!

Love always
