Crossword No. 3 coming up…
Hi there,
Thanks for popping in. Hope you are keeping safe and busy? Well the rain came down here in the Southeast, and it is set to keep us company for the week, so how about a new crossword to get your teeth into?
Just a quick recap of the first two plus the solutions underneath (in case you want to try them too, don’t look Ethel!!! ) – and then No. 3 – compliments of lovely Hazel Edwards xxx
CROSSWORD No. 1:
Of course, now you need a second crossword to keep the old grey cells clicking..
CROSSWORD No. 2
RIGHT. HERE’S THE LATEST ONE.
When you click the image below, it will open up large so that you can download and print.
Many many thanks to Hazel for her help; it is much appreciated.
Just trying to keep you busy, so you don’t get bored!
Keep calm and keep crafting! I’m off to doodle for another hour or so….
Love and Hugs

I’ll get round to the crosswords at some point. Just finished a Zoom get together with my sister, 3 school friends and our former High School music teacher. It was good to get together. Stay safe. See you in the SHAC shack tomorrow.
That’ll get the grey cells working! Sorry to hear you are having so much rain. We still have it quite nice up here but a bit colder today. Lovely sunset tonight. See you in the morning. Hx
Hi Barb, Thanks for the crossword which I will try in due course. I’m using lockdown to get my Christmas cards done. Dies and Designer Papers. 42 made so far. Another 70 to go! With Clarity I will never be bored. Love and hugs. Xx
Thanks for reminding us about the crosswords. Looks like I’ve got some down loading to do tomorrow.
For some weird reason this lockdown is proving to be a blessing for us. We are on our second skip now and the whole place is looking much better.
There has been oodles of crafting (by both of us) and having gone through every cupboard, box and drawer in the house there have been some lovely surprises which have come to light. All in all a happy time. Smiles all round. 😊
Sleep well 🍒🍒🍒
Hi who won the Easter egg competition? I seem to have missed that along the way😃
Like you its been wet all day here, definitely cut down on the number of steps done !! Crossword printed but must finish my doodle & a couple of birthday cards first. See you a t 10am for our next fix of doodling !!
Just heard that the ‘middle of Lidl’ is selling musical instruments this week, so Thursday night’s clap for careers could be interesting! Lots of entertainment from bored kids (and dad’s) for poor neighbours! I think I will stick to crosswords and doodles. 😂
I am loving doing the Geisha. Thanks Barb. Hugs. Annette X
Hi Barb, hope your doodling is calming your head before bedtime. Crosswords aren’t for me. I struggle with the way non autistic people use the english language in everyday use, never mind getting cryptic with it…!!! Do you know, I was thinking about it earlier, I haven’t had any human interaction since a phone call last Wednesday, nothing, not even a hi with delivery guys… No wonder I’m having silent conversations with myself more than ever. And don’t ask, no idea how I manage to have a two way conversation in my head, I just do. It must be a consequence of having to live in isolation for many years. Needs must, and all that. No other words today. Love you xxx
I’m confused. Been waiting for the solutions to crosswords 1 & 2 but that is not the number 1 I downloaded! Could that be number 4? Will have a go at number 3 if I can find time between doodling and sewing scrubs. Xx
Hi Gill, I did publish one crossword on my iCreateCards group before Barbara included them on her blog. Let me knows what one of the clues are and then I can identify which crossword it is and let yo7 have the solution! Hazel x
1 across Orange Man (anagram) Answer Pergamano. I got it off the blog,
Thanks. Hazel
Thank you for the No.3 crossword Barbara and Hazel. Loved doing the Geisha girl I can’t belief how fast that hour goes. I carried on after this morning and it was 12.45 before I realised, I had started again though as I messed up the fish scale pattern. A bit of improvement second time around. So enjoyable though. Wish my hand didn’t get so shaky when I try to concentrate. Very touching and thought prevoking doing the 1 minute silence this morning but needed to be done. Wet here all day too and quite chilly, same for the week I think. Take care and keep safe, love Pam xxx
Thanks Barbara, compiling the crossword is a weekly highlight for us and it is good to see how many folk like to give it a go. We will set them for as long as there is the demand! Stay safe and well xx
Hello Barb and thank you Hazel, I did fairly well with the first 2, but need to now go check the answers. Looking forward to this one. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
Really enjoyed the first two crosswords (and yes, finished them LOL) so delighted to have no £ to print off and work on. Thanks Hazel. I can write answers more easily than doodle tiny designs -but enjoy both.
Rats -that was meant to be Number 3!!
