Time Out.

Time Out.

Hi there,

Thanks for popping in. All quiet here . After a pretty manic few days on HOCHANDA, rolling from one sellout into the next one, I played catch up today. Caught up with Dave, caught up with my parents and brother, caught up with members of the Clarityteam, caught up with myself actually. Just took the time to unpack the car, unpack the suitcase, load the dishwasher and sort out the kitchen – then visit dear Carron and get my hair cut. That sort of not mundane but normal stuff that people do! Had a list as long as my arm of Clarity things which need tending to, but nothing that crucial that it cannot wait until tomorrow. I may have to get up earlier and hustle if I want to get to pottery, but sod it. When resentment starts rising up inside, it’s time to walk away for a day. It’s only tiredness, that’s all. A good night’s sleep in my own bed and I’ll be as right as rain.

A few folks are chasing their Gray Friday orders, and I would ask you to just bear with us. The Clarity Crew are beavering away, picking and packing like the clappers. It has to be said that when we have a sale and we sell out of something, we don’t sell it out; we make more of it to sell in the sale. So that means that the orders will take a little longer to fill, and the later you placed your order during the sale, the more stuff we’ve run out of, the more we have to make, the longer the order takes. So please. Have a heart and just bear with us. We cannot go any faster. Apparently, all the orders have got the free stencils going out with them now, so that tells me we’re steaming through the Sunday/Monday orders.

Tuesday, and the Clarity lads who are in charge of our other Claritymattersblog.com have done an excellent job today! I am so proud of them. They put so much effort into that blog. Love it. Please check it out; the latest Youtube is over there too, so there’s no need for me to load it here too. It’s been a while since I did one, so I hope you like it.

I hear Dave’s car. Gotta go.

Until tomorrow. I’ll get back on the horse tomorrow

Love & Hugs,

Barb xxx

  1. Can’t believe people chase their orders. Patience is a virtue! Looking forward to receiving my orders although I realised today I’d ordered something I already have. Good thing I have a crafty daughter! 😀 Glad you’ve managed a day to yourself today and pottery must be a priority tomorrow. Xx

    1. Hi Barb. It was good to see you yesterday, with your YouTube video, it’s been far too lomg!
I must be doing something wrong, as so far I haven’t found a single elf! I’m telling self that it’s my glasses at fault, but I rather think it’s my duff brain…!
Enjoy your pottery class, you can officially beat something up and create a thing of beauty from it. What’s not to love!
      Best wishes, Chris Jefferies.

  2. Hi Barb, glad you managed a day off today. Sorry that some folk are hassling about their orders, some folk just have no thought for anyone else other than themselves… I’m looking forward to watching your youtube. I’ll check out the other blog too, I seem to forget about that one and then I’m playing catch-up. I found the elf clue easily today, yay. Hope you have a lovely evening with Dave, and that you manage to get to pottery tomorrow. Love you xxx

  3. Thank you for bloggjng when you are up to your eyes, you really should make time for yourself, I’m sure we’d all understand if you missed a blog. We would miss you but sometimes needs must. Hope you get a good night’s sleep in your own bed tonight and feel less tired tomorrow. All that travelling probably tires you out especially if night driving.xxx

  4. Hope you get to pottery tomorrow. Tomorrow I must, I must – no not that ! – renew my NDC membership, meant to do it today but got overtaken by people ! Good to have a catch up day. X

  5. Hats off to the Clarity team who must be going like the clappers to fulfil the many orders, not only from Gray Friday but the Hochanda cyber shows and the ODS. My orders have started trickling in, and while it can be frustrating to have to wait sometimes, (I get excited about the products), people should be more understanding. It is always worth the wait.
Glad you had a day off today even though you spent it doing washing etc., a change can be as good as a rest.
There is nothing better to sleep in than ones own bed so sleep well tonight and wake refreshed tomorrow. Hope the pottery goes well and it helps you to reelaaaaax!!!

  6. My order is still in the process…am I worried. ..nope! It will come when it comes and I will be grateful. Loved the video today these stamps are amazing and I love mine. Fingers crossed you get to pottery tomorrow. Xx

  7. Hi Barb,
I had an email today to tell me that my last order was on its way and to be honest I was amazed that you’ve all managed to get the orders out as quickly as you have. Thank you and all of the team – fabulous job. I’m not surprised that you’re tired and I don’t blame you for stepping away from work today. I hope that you manage to get to pottery tomorrow because I know how much it means to you. Have a good night’s rest in your own bed tonight ( there’s nothing quite like it is there?) . Love and hugs, Alison xx

  8. Loving the Elf hunt. No worries, my order was late on monday so I know it will arrive when it arrives. Hope you make it to pottery.
I have a christmas project to crack on with tomorrow, we’re having a crafty Christmas tree competition at work so thought I’d make a parchment Christmas tree with the Groovi template 🙂 xx

  9. Thank you to all the Clarity team. I received my order yesterday and I’m am delighted with my choice.
    Keep up the good work.
    Many Thanks again.

  10. Started work at 7.15 this morning and finished fourteen and half hours later so brain no longer in gear. Tomorrow will be between 10 and 12 hours and although I will also have to work on Thursday and think I will be doing the bare minimum because it will all kick off again, all day Friday and Saturday ending with Sunday morning. I also had to do a couple of hours yesterday which was my day off so really looking forward to next Monday. Hope you get to pottery tomorrow and have a good day. I haven’t had time to put all of my last order away so more than happy to wait for my final orders! Still waiting for the elves to arrive to make space!!! Lol. Anyway, I’m just waffling tonight as I am so tired. Looking forward to seeing your youtube. I doubt I’ll manage to stay awake tonight so it will need to be tomorrow. Something to look forward to. Take care. Hx

  11. Good things come to those who wait – and so true in the case of Clarity goodies! Is it worth waiting for the quality Clarity provides, of course it is! Are the Clarity Elves working their socks off to get the orders out, of course they are! So I shall happily wait patiently for my orders to come! Thank you Team Clarity for all you do, you are the best and you provide quality. Brilliant Blogs, Magic Merchandise, Virtuoso Videos, Super Staff! And I’m having great fun with the Elf Hunt! Hope you get to Pottery tomorrow Barbara, switch off from the pressure for a bit and make some perfect pots!

  12. Goodness! It’s only just over a week since the orders were placed. Still, no one dies for lack of craft stuff. Glad you have started catching up before Christmas. Go to pottery anyway and make sure your staff are also getting home on time/taking their days off.

  13. Hello Barb, hope you had a lovely evening with Dave and relaxed a bit. I know it is hard to be patient when waiting for Crafty stash, but personally I think that the customer service from Clarity puts other bigger companies to shame, especially when it comes to postage and such. SO thank you very much. Take care all. Bx

  14. Hopefully by the time I have written this you will have made it to pottery as somehow I missed this last night. The hours in the day seem to have got shorter as although I plan to do loads of stuff I get to the end of the day with still things on my list. Today I am going to sort out my Christmas cards to see how many more I need to make & then I can concentrate on gifts. If Elvis is feeling redundant he could always come & help here !!
