Paper Anniversary!
Hi there!
Thanks for popping in. A year ago today, Dave and I were tying the knot over in Port Lympne, with friends and family. What a special day that was!
See the two swanky ladies to the right of Dave, sporting the posh fascinators? They are our friends from Texas, Debby and Gill. Well guess who turned up tonight at the house, to celebrate our anniversary with us! Yep!! I mean, we knew they were coming! They didn’t just rock up! But it was indeed a pleasure to spend the evening with them, to serve them, Dave and Grace a nice meal, and to catch up on the past year. Where did that year go?!? Crazy, eh.
Thank you so much also for the beautiful cards we received.
Thank you very much for the lovely flowers and messages too. It has been a lovely day. In fact, it has been a pretty special year, too. Here’s to many more together.
We popped over to see my friend Carron this afternoon. She was my Maid of Honour. And do check out the fantastic paper flowers, all hand made and painted by Becky, Maggie Craner’s clever daughter.
What I love is that even within the last week, I have seen so many of the key players in my life. They were at the wedding, and they’re actually never far away. I like that.
But now it’s time to call it a day. Hahahaha…. Dave is still sorting out the kitchen That’s the deal, you see. I cook. He cleans the kitchen. And he still can never understand why I get just about every plate, bowl and utensil out of the cupboard whenever I cook! It’s the creative in me! We only had Spaghetti Bolognese, salad, and Eton Mess for pudding, but la cuisine looked like a bomb had hit it when I came away to blog! He loves me really….
Love & Hugs,
Barb xxx

More lovely pics of your wedding – such a beautiful day.
Too hot and muggy to do much crafting today and even hotter tomorrow, but we are better off than those around the med who have temps of 40 plus!!!

Crickey that year went sooo very quick! I have to admit I didn’t realise your bouquet was created from paper until tonight – it’s so beautiful – a very clever artist made that. Sorry to hear Grace has to go back so quickly, it must hurt your a little having your lovely ones all that way away.
My family moved to Cambridge area a couple of years ago and I miss them dreadfully even though we’re only a couple of hours away. Now my younger brother has two very young little ones, I miss them dreadfully. Got too used to having them so near to us I did, and now I got to go cos I started to cry about it again xx
That’s were I live Cambridgeshire well st neots any were near us xxx
Happy Anniversary/Alles Liebe & Gute zum Hochzeitstag Barbara & Dave. Where has the year gone indeed! Here’s to many more happy years . Hugs xxx
What a wonderful evening. Love y’all.
Happy anniversary and many more to come.
Love Lesley. Xxxxxxx
Congratulations. ..hasn’t that year gone so quickly?! Sounds like you celebrated in a perfect way with good friends, good food and surrounded by your nearest and dearest. Weather ‘oop’ here has been pretty dire today..grey murk, mist and rain…definitely much different to a year ago. Have been to Ikea today getting some new storage for my crafty stuff, will build it tomorrow and can then begin unpacking the crafty boxes..then need a new table and could (maybe) do a little Groovi at the weekend, with luck xx
We popped out this morning to get some plants for the garden & came back to happy post & my PTC swap for June. Then the doorbell rang & a parcel containing my bumper dies, stencils & stamps plus bonus goodies so a really good Clarity day. Need to get the plants in & then I can play !!
Lovely to see the wedding pictures again & its nice when friends pop in for a catch up. Love the anniversary cards, yet more great ideas on how to use our stash.

Belated Happy 1st Anniversary Barb and Dave. May you share many more beautiful days and moments together. Sounds like you had a lovely day celebrating with friends. The cards you received are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them and the wedding photos with us. Take care all. Bx
I had plans to make you an anniversary card but once again it never happened, I’m sorry. 😕 I cannot believe how quickly that year has gone, must be true what they say – time flies when you’re having fun! Glad you had a lovely evening with family and friends. How fab for Debby and Gill to visit too. I only met them once but they are the sort of people you feel like you have known all your life. Safe flight back to the USA Grace and good luck with the launch of Clarity USA, whenever that may be. All in all, onwards and upwards for many years to come. Much love. Xxx
Belated Happy Anniversary wishes Barbara and Dave, lovely photos.
Best wishes

Hi Barb,
Many, many congratulations on your 1st wedding anniversary – I hope there will be very many more to come. Gosh, I cannot believe how quickly that year has gone! It’s scary really. Lovely to see the photos again and also to see your lovely cards. I’m so pleased that the weather last year wasn’t like today’s! It’s awful up here – rain, mizzle, fog and chilly! What a difference a year makes. Sending love and hugs to you both, Alison xxxx
Lovely photos! Thanks for sharing and I’m glad your anniversary was a good one. Wishes for many many more delightful years together filled with love and happiness.
Sad for you that Grace is leaving, but hooray for us here is the US where getting Clarity products faster and for less shipping (I hope) comes closer!
