Water Games…

Water Games…

Thanks for popping in. Have been having a splendid time in a Kentish Spa with my dear friend Anita. This is her gift to me for my 60th. Very generous and very special! Been a total water baby today. There are several pools and water massage power shower things. One was pretty savage! I swear it would have knocked my face off if I had dared face it! More like water boarding than water games! I stuck at it though. I bet it breaks down the fatty tissue if you let it hammer you enough! Well, that’s what I told Neet, as I was tucking into the legendary Cheesecake dessert this evening!

I almost started to feel guilty about all this self indulgence. What with Dave and the crew pedalling away in Port Sunny, and Lou on TV this evening. But then I came to my senses. Angon angon angon! If I can’t have the occasional weekend off and hang out with a girlfriend, then there’s something very wrong here, right?

And with that, she ordered a pot of peppermint tea to drink in the lounge, so she could watch the world go by, and enjoy her friend.

Love and hugs,
Barb xxx

P.S. I did have a little creative burst in the pool today! Two new Designer Pads a-coming up! I have the new colourways and even the names. Now I just need a few days to do the job!

  3. Donโ€™t feel guilty, you deserve it and what a friendship you must treasure with Anita.

    Ps. Lou was brilliant!

  4. Your title today is perfect for Redditch, as we have had two major floods due to large water mains bursting catastrophically. Don’t feel guilty at having a couple of days off, being pampered. Enjoy every second. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)

  5. You well deserve a day off of pampering with your friend, you should do it more often to recharge those batteries, I’m sure Dave would want you to. My lovely alphabet plates and the gorgeous palace plates arrived yesterday, only ordered on Tuesday night, what tremendous service. I have just completed my very first lacework from one of the King plates over the last few days, not perfect by a long way, but I’m so pleased I never gave up on it. Just have to decide what to put in the centre and what paper to mount it on. Thank you so much for Groovi Barb I couldn’t live without it now.xxx

  6. A weekend off even though you were thinking of new papers whilst you enjoying time with your friend is allowed. Enjoy the rest of your Spa time & we will look forward to your watery papers in due course.

  12. So glad you had a fabbie weekend with your friend. It’s more important than anything else.
I had a fabbie day at Port Sunlight show yesterday and really nice to see Dave, Paul, Maria, Heather, Len and Susan all flying the clarity banner so well. I also got to spend a day with my mate Brenda and catch up with other friends too that I don’t get to see that often!
Lou is doing a fab job on TV so relax a little more and those new papers will develop a bit more in your head ready to hatch when you can get into your craft space!
