Too Distressed !
Hi there.
Thanks for popping in. Too distressed? Me? No no no! Just had a whale of a time with a load of lovely peeps at the Spa Hotel Parchy Retreat for two days. I’m as far from distressed as it gets today! So happy it all went well. Everybody seemed to have enjoyed themselves, and that’s what it’s all about for me.
So what’s with the too distressed? I did a simple little Youtube using the Ranger Distress Oxides, that’s all! I do like these ink pads! They are so effective and great to use. Very clever. In fact, there’s 20% off all our Distress Oxides AND the 3-way Overlay stampset featured in this week’s Youtube! Until next Tuesday.

Time to kick back and spend a couple of hours with Dave, Linda and Rob. Log fire and a chinwag. Sounds pretty good to me!

I love the Distress Oxides and have been using them for a while now and my collection of colours is growing. They are so versatile for lots of techniques but they are also good inks to stamp with, they stay wetter longer too so emboss like a dream. I love the You Tube video today, the watercolour effect is very beautiful. Glad you had another good day. XX
Evening bloggy friends, hope you had fun if you managed to get to the Groovi days. I have been crafting and have got a few commissions underway. XX
Love it! What a great technique.
Brilliant 2 days on the groovi retreat. Huge thanks to Barbara, Paul and Linda and all who worked so hard to make it work. Looking forward to next year. Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
Got lots to do to finish the super projects we started.
Have fun everyone
This is my favourite image that Clarity makes.
Love your demo today, have the stamps and some diestress inks but not got around to using them as yet. Time to have a play me thinks. Glad your retreat days have gone so well, couldn’t go any other way with all the prepping you do for it.xxx
The Distress Oxides are well worth investing in. I have a full set and some of the most unlikely colours make amazing combinations. Old Paper, Tea Dye and Ground Espresso look fabulous for example.
Hello Barb, hope you had a great evening. Love the idea of Distress oxides, may invest in a couple just to give them a try. Off to watch the Youtube, did not have a chance yesterday, bet it is a good one. Take care all. Bx
I think Distress Oxides are great. For blending fabulous but I stamped with them last week and that was lovely too. Thank-you for two fabulous days at the retreat. My head is full of ideas and information. The atmosphere has been wonderful, so many happy people. X
Hi Barb,
Glad to hear that the Retreat has gone well. Love the stamps you’ve used on this project – I actually have them but not used yet. Don’t have Distress Oxides though as I can’t justify the expense having got the full set of ordinary Distress, all of the Artistry ones as well. I’ll just have to make do with these. Hope you had a lovely evening with Dave,Linda and Rob and that you might be able to have some time away with Dave soon to recharge the batteries. Love and hugs Alison xxx
I just love the distress oxides. I hope you’ll eventually have the last 12 colours in your shop too.
