Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt

Hi there,

Thanks for dropping in!

I think this must be the first Easter weekend in many, many years that we’re not working, which is rather eggcellent, because Dave and I get to chillax with good friends! I guess when you work most weekends, as we do, then time out is eggstra special, innit….

The Big Egg question is: will she be able to switch off? What think you? Yes or no? Can she manage to leave those pesky gits Wurka and Hollick at the office?

I have always marvelled at how they can move Easter from one month to the next….imagine they did that with Christmas too! Anyway, I‘m sure there’s a perfectly sound, manmade explanation.

What have you got planned? Anything eggciting? If the weather stays bright, we hope to go on some nice walks. The bluebells are out already too! Bit early, but hey! Global warming? What global warming?

How about an eggstra treat, for those of you who like a challenge? How about a Clarity Easter Egg Hunt? Whilst you’re busy eating your way through a pile of chocolate eggs, how about going on a virtual Easter Egg Hunt on the Clarity website?

Here’s what to do:

1) Visit our website and find the 10 hidden Easter Eggs
2) Jot down which product each egg was hidden behind
3) Email us your list of all 10 products to the address below:

egghunt2019@claritystamp.com

Next Tuesday, we’ll pick a winner out of the hat and put together a fantastic Easter basket full of Clarity goodies, worth a £150!

Gottabeinnittawinnit, right?

Have a lovely evening! An eggceptional one, in fact!

Love and hugs,

  3. Wishing you and Dave, a very Happy Easter! Fantastic that you are not working. Enjoy the beautiful weather and your precious time together.
Neill and I are going to enjoy a very quiet time together, and keep off the roads as much as we can – we have lots of holiday makers down here in Cornwall now. It will be lovely if the weather forecast is right and they get to enjoy some good weather too.
I’m off on the virtual Easter Egg Hunt now!
Wishing everyone a very Happy and peaceful Easter. Love and hugs, Gilly xxx

  4. Have a great weekend, enjoy all the eggs. Easter is determined by the moon, thats why it moves each year. If my memory serves me correctly it is calculated by a chart called the Golden Table which used to be in the C of E book of Common Prayer. Last I hear the great and the not so good in Westminster were discussing fixing the Easter weekend to the second or third weekend in April, Hey Ho and and another tradition is sacrificed to commercialism.

  5. Looks like weather wise going to be beautiful weather great for walks in blue bells. Love the idea foe egg hunt loved the elves at Christmas was great fun so better hop over to have a hunt happy Easter and enjoy some you time xxx

  6. Have an eggcellent weekend. Hope it’s cracking!!! And if wurka and hollick turn up give them a cream egg to fight over.
We have bluebells out in our garden… One corner and up the bank is a blue carpet. It’s lovely.
Enjoy your break and come back relaxed and refreshed.
    Love and hugs Xxxx

  7. Happy Easter to you and all our bloggy friends.
Your challenge is the closest I will be getting to choccy eggs as I’ve put on a little bit of weight thanks to the Spa food!!!
Do put Worka and Hollick in solitary confinement for the next few days. The weather is set to be warm and dry so enjoy it while you can.
I too am puzzled why some want to “fix” Easter – it has worked ok for 2000 years and if it ain’t broke why fix it? If they try it with Christmas I’m leaving the planet.
Love and hugs to all 🍒🍒🍒

  8. Hope you have a relaxing weekend. As Andrea says, Easter is determined by the phase of the moon. Its definition is the Sunday after the full moon after the spring equinox (21st March) and the Golden Table is a ready-reckoner. If the full moon happens just before 21st March, we have to wait another month for Easter, if it’s just after, Easter is early. When you consider that the full moon might be on a Monday, so we then have another week to wait, there’s about a five week spread of possible dates. To make things even more fun, the Orthodox use the old Julian calendar to determine Easter, so theirs can be as late as mid-May.

  9. I am sure that with the lovely weather, bluebells and walks with Dave, you will be able to switch off for the weekend. Enjoy it and relax.
I shall have fun trying the egg hunt. I wonder how long it will take me this time? 🤪
Happy Easter to you and all at Clarity. Hugs. Annette X

  10. Read your blog & got to the details about the egg hunt & off I went, love a challenge !! hour & a half later I am back !!!
Have a great weekend, nice to have a 4 day break. Now we are retired we don’t get the Bank holidays – I know we are on holiday every day but it means the B H’s don’t seem the same. Tell Worka & Hollick to do one for a few days.

  11. Hi all, wishing you all a Happy Easter.
I have left my wurka and hollick at home after prepairing to sell the House and have driven to the summer House to relax.
    Looking forward to the Hunt.
    Xxx from Pia

  12. Happy Easter to everyone. There is a chair in the garden with my name on it this weekend. it would be rude not to make the most of this glorious weather. xx

  13. About time you had a proper holiday weekend break Barbara as you and Dave work so hard. Thank you for the egg hunt and I will certainly be having a go. x

  14. Hi Barbara
Enjoy your weekend off with family and friends, you certainly deserve it. We’ve got lots of bluebells out here too, we’ve watched them slowly emerge on our walks in the country park. It’s certainly a beautiful sight. Ooh I’m off to look for Easter eggs today, I’m not having any of the chocolate kind so this will be my treat this year, that and a new pair of trousers as mine are starting to fall down! We are spending time with family too, but will have fingers firmly crossed on Monday as Emma starts her final uni exams (I know, Easter Monday!). Where has that 4 years gone! Groovi owls arrived yesterday, thank you so I’m all prepared to make the owl for when she graduates.
    Love Diane xxx

  15. Hi Barb and Dave, and all the clarity team, have a great weekend. Will definitely have a go at the egg hunt before the end of the weekend. Take care all, and have a great bank holiday weekend. Bx

  16. Have a great Easter Barb, Dave and all your team. Give Wurka and Hollick a kick out the door and relax and breath Barb. Getting to the Easter Hunt in a while again. Having trouble with one it still keeps hiding from me.xxx

  17. Enjoy your weekend off together, and practice some mindful walking to see off Worka and Hollick. I’m off work, but have guests at the guest house so not as busy as usual, but not fully relaxing. Did spend an hour in the garden with my book this afternoon though which was lovely!

  18. Just wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone, whatever your plans, have a great weekend. Lots of love to you all, Donna xXx
