YouTube Tuesday 3-in-1 Floral Frames

Hi there! Thanks for popping in! Paul, Simon and I been recording new YouTubes today actually, in readiness for the next few weeks. Paul and I both find Youtubing far more stressful than TV. Isn’t that strange?! I think it’s because you haven’t got anybody to bounce off; you’re on your own, every silence is yours to deal with, whereas a good presenter will always fill the gap for you and guide the show.

The advantage is that you can do quite elaborate and in depth artwork, which you would never have time for on telly. Mind you, HOCHANDA are very good about that; they really do give the guest a lot of demo time compared to other channels!

This week’s YouTube is a Fresh Cut technique by Paul. He’s full of tricks and tips when it comes to crafting!

I always enjoy watching Paul. He has a very pleasant, kind and calm way about him, doesn’t he.

As always, there is a 20% sale on most of the products which Paul reached for during his tutorial.

Head on over to the website to investigate! CLICK HERE

Time to have a clear up! This place looks like a bomzitit !!!

Our Maria’s on HOCHANDA tomorrow, at 12 noon and 4pm. She has got those superb new Fresh Cut Dies, those The Earth Listens designs by Mel. In Groovi too, so that should be very informative. Maria is very clever…

Love & Hugs,

Barb

  1. Time to settle down with a Tunnock’s caramel bar (Fox’s chocolate gingers have gone back up in price😣) Paul and a mug of tea.
Just the thing after a stressful couple of hours talking “finessing” “doubling”
“overcalling” and “trumping” (nothing to do with Donald or farting😝) at U3A bridge.
Peace, perfect peace listening to the beautiful language of Clarity that I know and love❣️

  2. Loved Paul’s YouTube he has got a lovely calm way about him great teacher. As you all are set ready to record Maria’s shows tomorrow as having day out so will watch on return . Have a good evening and enjoy your pottery class tomorrow xx

    1. Well that was fun, thanks Paul & Simon. Bruce’s Bonus with the extra demo’s too…..I had to make a second mug of tea!!

  3. Hello Everyone – just like to say a big thank you to everyone who replied to me yesterday. It was very kind and very touching. Feeling better today, and the decision to leave my job is looking more likely. All your wise words have spurred me on. With love and big hugs to you all, Donna X

    1. Sending you a big hug Donna, your years of experience will be a great loss but you will feel so much better in yourself. Xx

      1. Hi Donna,
Sorry I missed your post yesterday but I have to say that retiring was the best thing I’ve done after teaching for 37 years. I was initially worried that I wouldn’t have enough money but things have worked out fine – I do need to be careful especially around this time of year but I wouldn’t want to go back to work now. It is lovely to be able to do what I want ,when I want! Love and hugs, Alison xxx

  4. Excellent demo Paul. Hope your neck is better soon.
Quick question for anyone. I (lucky me) got a Gemini for Christmas. I tried the Dee method of plate protection using poly bag, and following the guidelines for plate sandwich. However, I just ended up with marked plates and thousands of little pieces of poly bag, as well as the paper pieces to get out of my dies and die cuts !!!! LOL any advice?
    Cheers
    Nanette

  5. Great demo Paul. Just been playing with my Chinese Latterns die this afternoon. Have gone to put everything away as I have to work for the rest of the week & I am missing a cutting plate! How does that happen 😂😂😂

  6. Not had a chance to watch Paul as yet – been busy trying to get my head around the lace plates. Screwed up the first time so am having to start all over again!! Grrr. I will flippin get it, I will. Lol xxxx

  7. Hi Barbara
Loved watching Paul’s demos, the corner dies are beautiful aren’t they and he has some fabulous ideas. I hope your neck gets better soon Paul.
    Love Diane xxx

  8. Loved the demos Paul. So simple but effective. Who won the Elvis the Elf prize? I must have missed the results.

  9. I agree that Paul is very relaxing to watch and I love his demos. Long housework day today, so having a cuppa and then collapsing in front of the tele for an hour or so, before an early night. Looking forward to watching Maria tomorrow. Hugs. Annette X

  10. Hello Barbara – love everything fresh cut, Paul is always a great watch and very calm and patient. As someone who loves die cutting these dies fill a gap, in fact I tend to use these all the time in my crafting. This year is to make more time for my Groovi, need to improve my cutting skills! Looking forward to Maria tomorrow. Love the Clarity family, lots of love Donna x

  11. Hi Barb,
Watched Paul’s video this afternoon with my cup of coffee and thoroughly enjoyed them both. You are correct in that he is so calm and knowledgeable. His demos were very clear and precise. Thanks Paul and I do hope your neck gets better quickly. Love and hugs,Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope today has been good for you. Well, it was back to the pool for us today after 4 weeks off! It was like a blooming bath! It was just too hot to swim in really – they did warn us before we got changed that there was a problem they were trying to fix. It was like having a permanent personal summer! I certainly didn’t feel relaxed afterwards I can tell you. The good thing was that I did manage a mile without feeling goosed ( apart from being hot) . Hoping it’s cooler on Thursday – I bet it will be freezing!!! Love and hugs Alison xx

  12. So enjoyed watching Paul a lovely way to relax at the end of the day. Thank you Paul. These dies are great. I have the birthday one and love it. I like the idea of making it a picture, it might not get thrown away
then. Enjoy your pottery tomorrow Barbara, the tall pot for flowers I think xxx

  13. Paul has a lovely way with him. Great demos. Now there’s two of you with bad necks! Hope everyone is pain free soon.

  14. Hello Barb, another fabulous Youtube video. Paul has a great manner for presenting, always clear and full of tips. I think that is why you work so well together, because you are the same. I am sure there are some bloopers along the way, perhaps those will make it to a special video like you did with your DVDs. 🙂 Take care all. Bx

  15. May I suggest you have one of the Clarity team as your ‘wingman’ or ‘wingwoman’ when you are filming a YouTube video? They would be able to fill the gaps in the same way as the tv host(ess) to support you Barbara. They could ask questions that your Clarity fans and followers might ask, especially helpful for new crafters too.
Perhaps we may see some newer Clarity team members, also people who are on the design team who make the wonderful samples – and maybe some hidden stars from the depths of Clarity Towers.
It would be great to match names to faces, learning more about the fab team you have built around you.
    Thanks!
    Brenda from Barnsley
